SSC CHSL Vacancy 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the post-wise and category-wise vacancies on its official website- ssc.gov.in. A total of 3,131 vacancies under the SSC (10+2) CHSL 2025 recruitment drive has been notified. As per the official SSC CHSL notification 2025, these CHSL vacancies are tentative as of now. The final number of SSC CHSL vacancies 2025 will be determined in due course. It may be noted here that the state-wise or zone-wise vacancies are not announced in the SSC CHSL 2025 exam. In case candidates need to enquire about the state-wise SSC CHSL Vacancy 2025, they need to approach the concerned user departments.
The revised or final SSC CHSL vacancies will be notified after the conduct of the Tier 2 exam. The candidates should note that with the increase in the vacancies, the SSC CHSL cutoff 2025 will be reduced and more candidates will be selected for the next phase of the examination.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a total of 3131 vacancies in the SSC CHSL 2025. These vacancies will be filled for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) in central government ministries and departments. The SSC CHSL recruitment 2025 is being carried out for the Group C posts for Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operators (DEO) posts for various ministries, departments and offices of the Government of India and various constitutional bodies, statutory bodies and tribunals. The maximum number of the SSC CHSL vacancies are usually released for the reserved category, that is, General. The Commission makes the selection of candidates based on the vacancies reported by the Indenting Departments/ Organizations. The Commission does not have any role in deciding the number of vacancies of any Indenting Department/ Organization. The implementation of reservation policy, maintaining reservation roster, earmarking of vacancies for different categories and identification of stability of post for suitable for various benchmarked disabilities are also under the domain of the Indenting Departments/ Organizations.
The number of SSC CHSL vacancies varies every year. The number of vacancies in the SSC CHSL 2024 exam were 3427 and in SSC CHSL 2021 exam were 6,072, and approximately 4500 vacancies were announced for the SSC CHSL 2022. The SSC CHSL vacancies are the most important component of the exam for two reasons. Firstly, the number of vacancies determines the number of candidates who need to be selected for the Tier-II exam and, consequently, the SSC CHSL cutoff to get these many candidates for the next level.

SSC CHSL Vacancies 2021

SSC CHSL vacancies 2021-22 released were 6,072 which is around 1.5 times of previous notification. The Commission released the post-wise vacancies separately under the candidate's corner. SSC CHSL 2021 exam (Tier-1) was conducted across the nation from May 24 to June 10, 2023 and for Tier-2 was conducted on September 18, 2023. The commission released the number of vacancies with the SSC CHSL result 2023 as done for the SSC CGL exam. SSC CHSL final answer key was released on August 11. The Commission released the SSC CHSL scorecard on August 11, 2023.

SSC CHSL Vacancies 2020
SSC CHSL vacancies were released in tentative numbers and they will be revised later (before the result). In the previous notification, the number of tentative vacancies were 4,726. Out of this, 1,538 vacancies have been released for Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), 3,181 vacancies were released for Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and seven vacancies have been released for Data Entry Operator (DEO).
