The last date to raise objection against the SSC CHSL answer key was December 11. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam was conducted from November 12 to 30. The notification was released on June 23, 2025. SSC CHSL Post List

The SSC CHSL posts are mentioned in the official notification. Candidates appearing for the exam need to select the CHSL posts while submitting out the form. The following SSC CHSL Posts are recruited, as per the requirement made by the indenting departments or ministries. 

1. LDC - Lower Division Clerk
2. JSA - Junior Secretarial Assistant
3. Postal Assistant (PA)
4. Sorting Assistant (SA)
5. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
6. DEO (Grade A)

The SSC CHSL exam is conducted to recruit candidates for these posts in various ministries. However, the exact post names are notified in the SSC CHSL notification.

SSC CHSL Eligibility 2025: Essential Qualifications

The SSC mentions SSC CHSL eligibility 2025 in terms of essential qualifications in the notification. Have a look at the basic educational qualification for SSC CHSL posts below:

• For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates must have passed 12^th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.
• For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12^th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Qualifications for Distance Learning Candidates

The candidates who studied in the distance learning mode will be eligible for the SSC CHSL exam if they fulfil the condition given below:

“As per the Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated 10-06-2015 published in Gazette of India all the degrees/ diplomas /certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the Universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act, 1956 and  Institutions of National Importance declared under an Act of Parliament stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission. Accordingly, unless such degrees are recognized for the relevant period when the candidates qualified, they will not be accepted for Educational Qualification.”

SSC CHSL Posts and Permissible Disabilities for PwD Candidates

For the SSC CHSL posts in the Border Roads Organisation, there is no reservation provided for the persons with Disabilities (PwD). For other posts in any ministry and department, the permissible limit for the PwD is mentioned in the official notification as below:
