The scores are calculated in the following manner:
- For the correct answer, candidates are awarded one mark
- There is a negative marking for wrong answers; 0.25 marks are deducted for incorrect answers
- The scores of candidates are calculated based on correct and incorrect answers
- Marks scored by candidates in the Computer-Based Examination are normalized using the equi-percentile method
- The normalised scores are used to determine the final merit list
