
SSC Stenographer Exam Centre 2026: The Staff Selection Commission has started a new facility to select the examination slot. The candidates can avail this facility to select their examination slot. The Commission will allot the SSC Stenographer exam centre based on the first applied basis. The Commission finalise the slots as per the application received from the candidates and allot approximately 90 per cent of the candidates, the exam slot of their choice.
The SSC Stenographer exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE) in August-September 2026. The Commission is yet to release the exam dates on its official website - ssc.gov.in. It will be conducted in over 100 cities across the nation. The candidates should note that the SSC Stenographer applications will be released in April 2026.

The Staff Selection Commission will notify the list of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D exam centres in the exam notification. As per the SSC Exam calendar 2026-27, the Commission will release the SSC Stenographer notification in March 2026. It will mention the zone-wise exam centre in its notification.
