Yes, in order to get into the Integrated MSc courses at PSGCT, a student is required to take an entrance examination conducted by the PSGCT. The applicants are shortlisted for the entrance exam based on marks obtained in Class 12. Shortlisted students ar then called for an entrance test at the College campus. The duration of the examination is one hour. It connsists of Multiple Choice Questions from Mathematics at the Higher Secondary Level.

No, direct admission is not allowed for MBA course at PSG. The students have to appear and clear the TANCENT exam for admissions. The cutoff for TANCENT 2026 hs not been released yet. However, the students will get details one the cutoff is released on website. The cutoff is released by Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.
PSG College of Technology Coimbatore BE cutoff has been concluded for 2024 admission to the BE courses including Mechanical Engineering. As per the TNEA cutoff 2024 in the last round, the closing rank for admission to BE in Mechanical Engineering was 4735 for the General AI category students. Comparing the latest year cutoff with past two years, Mechnical Enginerring saw a fluctuation in its last-round closing ranks over three years. In 2023, the TNEA closing cutoff of the course was 4914, while in 2022, the cutoff closed at 3570. So, taking the last three-years TNEA last-round cutoff into consideration, candidates aiming for BE in Mechanical Engineering must target to secure over and above the cutoff range mention here for the General AI quota.
