M.E. in Embedded and Real Time Systems - Batch of 2018

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best College for M.E. In the embedded and real time systems course.
Placements: Almost all students were placed in our courses. The highest salary is 12 LPA to 15 LPA, which was the minimum. 90% of students received their internships. The top recruiters were Intel, Qualcomm, Robert Bosch, Texas Instruments, etc. The top roles offered were Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer, and more.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi system was awesome. Classrooms were good. The campus was awesome and clean. The campus had specially designed sports courts for basketball, volleyball, etc. The college system here was amazing, as here things are amazing, which helps us a lot. The college ensures cleanliness, and students also ensure that they do not have any problems inside the college.
Faculty: Teachers behave like friends, viewing our issues as their own and striving to provide the best solutions. I can claim the top instructors in college. They possess extensive knowledge and experience. In our curriculum, educators approach students based on professional expectations and promote proper behavior. Final exams were simple, and the passing rate was approximately 72%.

Good placements, campus, people, and a better you.
Placements: Students above 95% can easily get into our department. The highest package is 12 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Zifo. Most of the students got their internships, around 50%, with companies like Biozeen, Biocon Ltd, AIIMS, and IGIB. The jobs are related to microbiologists, research scientists, quality control, and bioanalytical techniques.
Infrastructure: There is indeed a good Wi-Fi connection, library, and all, but the labs do not have advanced machines and tools. The classrooms are good enough. The hostel is good here. Based on our preference, they provide rooms with two sharing, six sharing, etc. Medical facilities are very good here. There are lots of sports and games activities available. The mess food is really good compared to any other hostels. They provide non-veg food three days a week.
Faculty: Teaching quality is really good, and most of our teachers have completed a Ph.D., and their teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is indeed relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are a little bit tough, but we can handle them if we complete the portions regularly. The pass percentage for the semester exam is around 45/100, and most students will clear. The student pass percentage is above 85%.
Other: I wanted to study something different, other than CSE. Also, I wanted Biology in my course as I could not clear the NEET exam. The teaching includes advanced lab equipment and more practical, hands-on lab practices rather than just theory. There are lots and lots of extracurricular activities conducted by our college. There are also many clubs here where you can get to know other students and seniors in depth. Campus life is good here if you make connections with friends, and scholarships are given by our college.

The honest review of PSG College of Technology.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of our seniors are placed in good companies. The highest package is 27 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The companies that visited our college, that is, TCS, Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, Wipro, Zomato, etc. Every student got an internship. There are 2-6 months of internship provided by the placement cell, which is very helpful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in my college, but there is good equipment in the labs and the library. The hostel is also average compared to other colleges. They provide double-sharing rooms, triple-sharing rooms, and four-sharing rooms, but the food is average. I am from Andhra. I didn't like the food, but I came here to get placed in good company, so the students who are coming to place in good company and focusing on studies, I would strongly recommend students come here, and the sports are not as good as those at other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty members of my college are very qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills them is excellent. Every faculty member has earned their Ph.D. in a good college, and the relationship between student and faculty is good. Every faculty member motivates students, and the curriculum of the course is very relevant nowadays, with technology. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate to difficult. If a student studies work from day one, then they can get a good score in the semester.
Other: I would like to recommend this college if the student is really focused on gaining skills and getting a good placement in a good company. It is a good opportunity for him or her. The things to improve in this college are the infrastructure and the hostel, and there are no cultural events that will happen in this college. Only one first happens once a year, which is named as Axious, it happens in October, and there is no Freshers' Day.

Absolutely 90% placement, a very good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Minimum 50% and maximum 75% were placed. Highest salary is 13 LPA, and the lowest Salary is 4 LPA. Caterpillar and TCS are the top companies for our course. More than 60% students will get internships from our college. Production manager is the top role.
Infrastructure: We have a CAD CAM lab, and we have a separate block for our course. Food quality is expected as hostel food, not very good or less good. We have grounds, a football and a basketball court. In our hostel, we have clinic for 24 hours. Lots of sports are here, and a gym also.
Faculty: We have qualified faculty members, and their teaching was very professional. Course made students industry-ready. More than 70% students passed in the semester exams. Exams are not so difficult if we cover the daily syllabus. We can also be guided by teachers if we have any struggles.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for it. If we have more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge, it would be better. Our college will conduct more events related to education, and we will do a lot of projects.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements in PSG are very good. The campus is visited by a variety of companies, from MNCs to local companies. The college first brings the MNC companies like Goldman Sachs, Intel, Amazon, Microsoft, eBay, etc. Then, the service-based companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc., and the local companies are given a chance to recruit our students for those who wish to work in their hometown. During our final year, around 700 got placed in Cognizant, 60 in IBM, 28 in Wipro, 15 in Intel, 10 in eBay, and 8 in Amazon; all these are approximate values.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum provided in the college is on par with international standards. All the subjects are provided with an up-to-date curriculum review and are changed whenever a new and upcoming technology is dominating the market. Rooms are spacious; first-year students have to share the room, but from the second year onward, they are free to decide whether they want to continue or want a separate room. Rooms are plenty; there has never been any type of shortage. PGs' average rental at my time was 1200.
Faculty: The course curriculum provided in the college is on par with international standards. All the subjects provided are up-to-date, with a curriculum review changed whenever a new and upcoming technology is dominating the market. All the faculty in our college have at least 10+ years of experience and possess a wide knowledge in their field of expertise. They, along with other alumni, frame the course charter and curriculum to benefit the students.

Good college for your future.
Placements: The highest package offered was about 1.2 crore per year. Google is one of the top companies offering jobs. All the staff support us in gaining knowledge. Internship programs are ongoing at our college, allowing most students to showcase their talents and skills.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. The hostel food is good. Medical facilities are quite nice. We can join sports. We need to pay for the canteen if we buy extra food, but the food is quite tasty. Lemon juice is most common in the canteen. Many games and guidance are available in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Semester exams are quite challenging. Students are physically and mentally prepared for their lives and exams. Labs and practical sessions are essential. We need to complete our records daily, making exams quite manageable here.
Other: I opted for this course because ECE is basic for everything. Some events are conducted here. The campus surroundings are good. Scholarship is available here.
