NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, KGMU ranks 8th in Medical, 29th in State Public University and 83rd in the Overall category.
The NEET MDS 2026 application form is likely to be released in Feb 2026 for KGMU admission to MDS and PG Diploma (Dental) courses.

- The NEET PG counselling 2025 round 1 final seat allotment result has been released for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their allotted institutes by Dec 1, 2025.
- The NEET UG Counselling 2025 has concluded, with the final seat allotment result of the stray vacancy round for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses.
- The UP-NEET UG Counselling 2025 seat allotment result for the stray vacancy round has been released for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

The total fees for BSc courses at KGMU range from INR 48,000 to INR 3 lakh. Fees for the BSc programme also varies according to reservation quota. Candidates from general category are required to pay INR 48,100 (With Hostel) and 43,200 (Without Hostel). For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores.
