NTA has started the NCHMCT JEE 2021 mock test from August 5 to 7, 2021. The mock test link will be activated on the official website nchm.nta.ac.in. The actual exam will be held in an online proctored mode for the first time ever on August 10.

NCHMCT JEE 2021 mock test

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the mock test for NCHMCT JEE 2021. The mock test window will be open for 2 days from August 5 to 7, 2021. During these 2 days, candidates can take the mock tests any time between 10.00 am to 06.00 pm. The mock test of NCHMCT JEE and the actual exam is to be taken on a laptop / computer. Mobile phones cannot be used. The purpose of the mock test is to familiarise the candidates with the online proctored test before the actual exam on August 10.

This year NTA is holding NCHMCT JEE 2021 in online proctored mode. This means candidates do not need to visit any exam centre to take the exam. The exam can be taken from the respective residences of the candidates.

Why is it Important to take the NCHMCT JEE 2021 Mock Test?

It is important to take the mock test for National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) as it will provide the candidates with the following benefits:

  • The candidates will be familiarised with the online interface.
  • Understand the process of logging in and taking the test.
  • It is an exact replica of the exam interface and hence once candidates take the mock test there will be no difficulty on the exam day.

All the candidates who have registered for the NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam appear for the mock test.

However, note that the mock test is only for practice / familiarizing the candidates with the procedure for taking the online exam and is not the actual exam for assessment. A candidate who is present in the mock test but fails to be present in the actual exam on August 10, 2021, will be treated as absent.

What Are the Requirements for NCHMCT JEE 2021 Mock Test?

The candidates can check the requirements to take the mock test for NCHMCT JEE. The same will be applicable on the day of the exam:

Hardware and software specifications for appearing in the exam are as follows:

Laptop / Desktop with functional Web Camera and Microphone

Machine Configuration

  • RAM - Minimum 2GB (though 4GB is recommended)
  • Processor Speed - 1.5 GHz and above

Operating system

  • Windows 7/8/10 Operating
  • Minimum 40GB Hard Disk Memory
  • Minimum Core2 Duo processor

Preferred browsers: 

  • Google Chrome (Ver. 75 or above)
  • Mozilla Firefox (Ver. 70 or above).

Make sure that the pop-up blocker is disabled on your browser. Any notifications related to antivirus, windows update, email notifications, etc will be counted as navigation.

Internet Bandwidth:

512 Kbps - 1 Mbps

Additional requirements

  • Minimum 1.4GHz clock speed
  • Antivirus should be disabled on the system.
  • Dotnet 4.5 must be installed on the user system

NCHMCT JEE 2026 application correction facility will be available shortly before the issue of admit card by the NTA. Candidates will be notified through the official website and emails.

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in 12 or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2026. The exam has no minimum marks requirement.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 is accepted by 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM, and 27 Private IHMs that are affiliated to NCHMCT.
