He added that the exam centre facilties were fine, and he was smoothly directed towards his assigned test system. He did not face any technical errors while taking the examination.

Q:   Which is the toughest section of the NCHMCT JEE exam?
A:

The difficulty of the NCHMCT JEE exam varies from section to section and from year to year. However, based on past year's trends and student feedback, the Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude (NAAA) section is generally considered to be the toughest section of the exam. This is due to several factors:

  • The NAAA section covers a wide range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, mensuration, and data interpretation. These topics can be challenging for students who are not strong in math.
  • The NAAA questions are often tricky and require careful analysis. This can be difficult for students who are not used to working with time constraints.
  • The NAAA section is weighted more heavily than the other sections of the exam. This means that it is more important to do well in this section in order to get a good overall score.

Of course, the difficulty of the NAAA section will vary from student to student. Some students may find the reasoning and logical deduction section to be more challenging, while others may find the English language section to be more difficult. The best way to prepare for the NCHMCT JEE exam is to practice all of the sections and identify your strengths and weaknesses.

Q:   What is a good score for NCHMCT JEE 2025?
A:

A decent rank in NCHMCT JEE 2025 depends on your aimed college to get in. When you score 180+ out of 200 (720/800), that typically secures a top 100 rank, ideal for premier IHMs like Pusa, Mumbai, and even Bengaluru. A score often makes for a rank below 1,000 from 150–180 (600–720), good for the famed IHMs. IHMs for mid-tier are generally expected for candidates with scores of 110–150 (440–600). A general category has a minimum qualifying range considered as 90–100 marks. There exist but few choices under 90. Aim toward top colleges through 180+. Rank cut-offs do vary during each of the years because of the specific competitions. These rank cut-offs do also vary upon the difficulty.

Q:   How do I prepare for the NCHMCT JEE?
A:

You can gain admission to the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management by taking the NCHMCT JEE. There, you need to have a proper strategy to prepare for the NCHMCT JEE. Some suggestions to help you prepare for this exam are as follows:

  1. Create a preparation plan: After going through the exam pattern and syllabus, you need to make a pre-study plan according to the time available to you.
  2. Select the right study material: You have to select the right study material that covers each topic of the NCHMCT JEE. You can also check previous year's papers to shortlist study material.
  3. Section-wise preparation: There are five sections, out of which English and aptitude for the service sector carry more weight in the score. Therefore, you need to focus more on these sections.
  4. Revision: You need to create topic-wise notes for revision during mock practice. You may make notes only on important topics or on those in which you are facing difficulties.
  5. Practice: To prepare well, you need to practice as much as you can. You can do daily section-wise practice and give a weekly mock test.

Indranil, who also appeared for NCHM JEE 2022 at a test-centre in Jharkhand said that the question paper was similar to last years, as many questions were tweaked around. Moreover, he said that only a few months of preparation was sufficient for him to attempt the maximum questions. Talking about the exam pattern, he shared that the MCQs type questions are easier to attempt in the CBT mode, as filling the OMR answer sheet consumes more time.

Q:   Is the NCHMCT JEE exam tough?
A:

The NCHMCT JEE exam is not considered to be extremely difficult, but it is certainly competitive. The exam assesses a wide range of skills and knowledge, including numerical ability, reasoning, English language, general awareness, and aptitude for the service sector. Students who are well-prepared and have a strong understanding of the concepts covered in the syllabus are likely to do well on the exam.

Here are some factors that contribute to the competitive nature of the NCHMCT JEE exam:

  3. Time Constraints: The NCHMCT JEE is a computer-based test (CBT) that is administered in a time-bound manner. This can put pressure on students and make it difficult for them to complete all of the questions.

Despite these challenges, the NCHMCT JEE exam is not impossible to pass. With hard work, dedication, and a strategic study plan, you can increase your chances of success. Here are some tips for preparing for the NCHMCT JEE exam:

  • Start Early: Begin your preparation early to allow yourself ample time to cover the syllabus thoroughly and practice solving problems.
  • Understand the Syllabus: Make sure you have a clear understanding of the NCHMCT JEE syllabus and the types of questions that are asked in the exam.
  • Practice Regularly: Practice solving problems from previous year's papers and mock tests to improve your problem-solving skills and speed.
  • Focus on Weak Areas: Identify your weak areas and focus your preparation on improving those areas.
  • Seek Help: Don't hesitate to seek help from teachers, tutors, or online resources if you are struggling with any concepts or problem-solving tecMaintain a Positive Attitude: hniques.
  • Believe in yourself and stay motivated throughout your preparation. A positive mindset can make a significant difference in your performance.
Q:   How would I know my NCHMCT JEE exam centre?
A:

Candidates will get to know about their allotted NCHMCT JEE exam centre only from the admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the NCHM JEE admit card. The examination authority allots a test centre to aspirants in the city of their first preference as mentioned in the city.

So, candidates can atleast be assured that they will get a test centre in the city they had chosen as first preference in the NCHMCT JEE application form. However, the venue will be mentioned only on the candidate’s admit card. So as soon as the NCHMCT JEE admit card is released, candidates must check the test city and test centre details. In order to avoid any confusion, they must visit the centre at least once before the exam day.

Q:   How should I prepare for NCHMCT in a month?
A:
To prepare for the NCHMCT exam in one month, you need some prior knowledge of topics that are asked and a dedicated study plan. You can prepare for this exam in a month by using the following expert tips: 1. Solve previous year's NCHMCT question papers to know which areas require more focus from you. 2. Gather limited study material that you can cover in a month; for instance, if you are preparing for the reasoning section, you need to refer to a good book like R. S. Agrawal. 3. In one month, you need to study important concepts on the syllabus and revise them multiple times. 4. Complete at least 15 mock tests during this time period to improve your exam accuracy. 5. You must prioritize English so that you can perform well in both the exam and the interview. Try to devote a minimum of 10 hours to study and practice as much as you can to pass the NCHMCT with one month of preparation.

Another candidate, Vishwajeet, shared that he could not attempt the exam properly as he applied for NCHM JEE 2022 at the last minute, and did not prepare sufficiently. He is hoping that he secures a rank at least to get admission in Private Hotel Management Colleges.

How is cut off for NCHMCT JEE 2022 deteremined?

There are various factors affecting NCHM JEE 2022 cut off marks, some of the common factors are:

Difficulty level of question paper - If the question paper is easy, then the cut off marks are expected to be high. Whereas, if the question paper difficulty is high then the cut off marks are relaxed.

Answer key discrepancies and review - The exam authority publishes answer keys and responses of the test-takers online. And if there are any discrepancies as reported by the candidates, then the exam authority takes corrective measures and removes the question or allot extra marks to all those who attempted it. This ultimately affects the cut off marks.

Total number of seats - The infrastructre and seat intake at IHMs in India is revised every now and then. Therefore, if the total seat intake is reduced or increased, then the cut off marks are increased or reduced respectively.

The answer key of NCHMCT 2022 along with the question paper is expected to be out soon. NCHMCT will publish results of NCHM JEE 2022 in July tentatively.

Prior to examination, some aspirants requested NCHMCT and NTA to cancel or reschedule NCHM JEE 2022 due to ongoing student protests against Agneepath Recruitment Policy. They reached out to the authorities on Twitter sharing their concerns of not being able to reach the exam centre as the protesters are on the road.
