The possibility of direct admission to IHM depends on the course for which you are applying. If you are applying for any degree course, you cannot apply for direct admission. To be admitted to a degree programme such as the B.Sc. you must take the NCHMCT JEE exam. On the other hand, if you are applying for any Certificate or Diploma course offered by a particular IHM, you can apply for direct admission.
