Oberoi STEP’s The Hotel Operations Programme

This programme offered at OCLD comprises two streams which are:

1. Front Office/ Food and Beverage Service focus
2. Housekeeping focus

The Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) by The Oberoi Group of Hotels runs for three years. During this time, students receive training in four main hotel departments – Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, and Kitchen operations. The Oberoi STEP programme gives hands-on experience to students at one of the hotels under The Oberoi Group, such as The Oberoi Bangalore, The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra, The Oberoi Cecil in Shimla, The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, Trident Gurgaon, The Oberoi Gurgaon, Trident Agra, Trident Jaipur, The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Trident Chennai, and Trident Udaipur.

Thus, practical training in Oberoi STEP’s courses is offered at The Oberoi Group of Hotels and academic education is offered to candidates in the distance mode as they are enrolled in Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Studies (BTS) offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
