I am absolutely satisfied because of the people I met and the valuable lessons I learned.
Placements: The number of students who received placements from the B.A. The English Honors program is relatively low. Those who were placed usually held degrees in B.Com (Hons) or B.Sc. in a specific subject. I believe the highest package was around 31 lakhs per annum, after SRCC's highest package of approximately 36 lakhs, but this data is outdated, and I'm not familiar with the recent figures.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, a library, and a canteen offering decent food. We also have a Mitti Cafe, an Amul outlet, a Nescafe outlet, and a place called Lovers Point where students can hang out with friends and loved ones. The hostel is available for boys and girls as well.
Faculty: Faculty members of the B.A. The English Honors program are highly regarded due to its experienced teaching staff. I believe that this course equips you with knowledge and helps you grow wiser; however, it does not necessarily make you industry-ready. The semester exams are relatively easy.

Great for studies and friends, but awful for fun activities, ashamed of this years fest.
Placements: Almost none of the students are placed in my course, but students from other courses like B.Com have a high rate of getting placed. In the last few years, the highest package was about 23 LPA and on average the package revolves around 7.5 LPA. Top companies like Deloitte, Bain, Zomato, ICICI Bank, Airtel, etc., have recruited. Most often the choice of getting placed or being an intern is a personal choice and result of one's endeavors. I have seen students who have been constantly enrolling in internships paying them enough to live on their own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is beautiful. Almost every classroom has AC and projector in it. Library is also good although the Wi-Fi facility is very weak. The internet speed is very low most of the time. But library's environment is comfortable for studies with very less disturbance. Library consists a plenty amount of books, but sometimes lacks some need ones. I have never stayed in a hostel but none of my friends ever criticized the hostel and always said that the food is good and its decent. Most often canteen food is delicious, but sometimes they mess up really badly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and are great at it. They are master of their subject and hold great knowledge. There are few professors who are strict and rude. But often the faculty members are helpful and understanding. The semester exams are similar in all colleges of the university. I believe they are very easy to pass even if you study 2 nights before, you can easily pass them, atleast in my case [English honors]. If you get good marks on assignments and tests and are regular to college, you can easily maintain more than 8 CGPA.
Other: The crowd is fun, approachable, and helpful. But from the last few years, the authorities have become very strict and don't allow a lot of fun activities inside the college. We had terrible fests for the last couple of years. The society's culture is decent and can help students in extra knowledge and build connections.

The Honourable and Prestigious Hansraj.
Placements: The placement percentage of my college varies between 50 to 60%. The highest package of my college is 36.5 lakhs, the lowest package is 5 lakhs, and the average package is 8.63 lakhs. The highest package from my course was 12 lakhs, the average was 7 lakhs, and the lowest was 5 lakhs. The top companies which recruit students from my course are the Big Four, Paytm, Byju's, Zomato, FMCG, etc. Overall, 80% of students from my course got internships in big companies like The Economic Times, Hindustan Times, KPMG, Zomato, etc. Top roles which are offered from my course are in marketing, HR, consulting, sales, content writing, business analysis, etc.
Infrastructure:
The facilities and infrastructure are excellent for my course. Every classroom is air-conditioned and has smart boards and projectors. The quality of the hostel facilities is also good. The food is very tasty and healthy, similar to home-cooked food. The sports facilities are excellent in my college. It has a shooting range, an indoor badminton and TT stadium, an outdoor stadium, and also a sports room where every type of sports equipment is available.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent and highly qualified. Every faculty member holds a Ph.D. degree and has written their own books. Their teaching quality is easily understandable. The course curriculum is very relevant because we get to read about different novels and fiction, which makes the students fully prepared for the literature industry.
Other: I chose this course because I love reading stories, and I also write poems, so this course will help me to get better in this field of becoming a writer. Everything is best in my course, and I don't think that there is any need for improvement. The overall crowd and connectivity are excellent. Every year our annual fest, Confluence, happens, in which the biggest artists of the country come and perform at our college. There is a scholarship facility for EWS students, and extracurricular activities happen on a daily basis, which gives students great exposure.

An honest insight of the Hansraj College.
Placements: The placement cell of Hansraj college is quite active. Renowned companies such as Google, Deloitte, and Zomato recruit from our college. The highest package last year was 24 lakh per annum and the median package was 6-7 lakhs. The number of students placed in English honors was 150 out of 200. The roles offered by companies were of PR, content writer, HR, copywriter, etc.
Infrastructure: The classes of our college are pretty spacious and all of them contain air conditioners. Also the infrastructure and the conditions of the chair and the tables are also pretty good. The hostels are available for both girls and boys and the girls hostel also contain air conditioners.
Faculty: The teachers of the English faculty are pretty helpful and qualified, though some teacher's teaching style is very boring, which may make you hate the subject. The course and curriculum of the subject are pretty good, though. There are no mid-semester exams; there are only yearly exams, and the difficulty level is also average, and one can easily score a 7 CGPA.

The Educational Paradise at Hansraj College.
Placements: Almost all the students who apply for placements get placed. The highest package was Rs. 34 lakh, while the average package ranges between 7-8 LPA. The top recruiters include Bane, OYO, Delivery, PWC, EY, Deloitte, Shaw, Unacademy, KPMG, Microsoft, etc. Almost all students get internships either through the Internship cell of the college or privately. Top roles include Managers, Recruiters, Consultants, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The classrooms are well-equipped with AC and projectors. The labs are equipped with new computers and all applications. The college library has 2 floors and has books from all domains. State-of-the-art smart technology is used for return and issue. The college has separate facilities for boys and girls. They are neat and clean, and serve tasty and varied meals to students. Doctors are available on call, and good facilities for sports are available in college, like an indoor badminton court, shooting range, table tennis, basketball, and a ground for other sports. All sports equipment is available in college for free.
Faculty: The college follows a centralized syllabus as followed by DU. The teachers are Ph.D. qualified and are alumni of top colleges and universities in the country. They are very cooperative and help students in all possible ways. The course is carefully designed as per NEP and helps to develop new skills in students. The semester exams are centralized by DU. The majority of the students easily pass exams.

English honors in Hansraj College require a percentage well above 90%. I don’t think, you could get into it with this percentage.
