The MHLAW CET question paper has 120 objective-type questions. These 120 questions are divided into five sections for 5-year LLB course and four sections for the 3-year LLB courses. No negative marking in the exam.

| Logical and Analytical Reasoning (30 Questions) | Identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments, completing arguments, wide analogies, drawing well supported conclusions, understand the structure, reasoning by analogy, applying principles or rules, relationship and to draw logical conclusions about the structures, and also includes reasoning deductively from the set of statements and rules or principles that describes the relationship among persons, things or events |
| English | Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, analogies etc.) Proficiency (Idioms and Phrases, One-word Substitution, Sentence Improvement and rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks etc.) English Usage Errors (Common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes etc.) English Comprehension with minimum two passages followed by Five to Ten questions that test reading and reasoning abilities. |
