TS LAWCET 2026 Qualifying Marks Vs Admission Cutoff

Many candidates make the mistake of considering the TSLAWCET qualifying marks as the admission cutoff. But the two are very different. For instance:

  • The qualifying marks are the minimum marks one needs to secure in the TS LAWCET 2026 exam to qualify in the exam.
  • Note that only such candidates who qualify in the TS LAWCET 2026 exam will get a merit rank and will be eligible to participate in the counseling process.
  • But merely qualifying in the TS LAWCET doesn't guarantee admission or seat allotment.
  • Qualifying candidates need to appear in the counseling process, wherein seats will be allotted based on

          1) TS LAWCET 2026 merit rank and

          2) college options picked during counseling.

  • The last rank for which admission is offered is called the TS LAWCET 2026 cutoff for that particular category and college.
