The TS LAWCET 2025 counselling process is scheduled to begin from August 04, 2025. Candidates will be able to register for the counselling on the official admission portal- lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The last date to register for the counselling is August 14, 2025. To register for admission to the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses through TSLAWCET 2025

Telangana State Examination Cell has commenced the counselling process online from August 04, 2025 for candidates. However, it is important for to know the documents required to register and participate in the Telangana State Law counselling. Know here the list of important documents along with the fee details.

TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling Important Documents

The TS LAWCET 2025 counselling registration is closed from August 04, 2025. Candidates were able to register for the counselling on the official admission portal- lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The last date to register for the counselling was August 14, 2025. To register for admission to the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses through TSLAWCET 2025, eligible candidates had to follow certain steps and keep their important documents ready. These documents will be required during the TS LAWCET Counselling registration process and physical verification rounds of TSLAWCET counselling as well.

Q:   When will TS LAWCET 2026 counselling start?
A:

The TS LAWCET counselling schedule will be released through the official TSCHE Portal - lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. TS LAWCET counselling is the procedure by which qualifying students are admitted to various law programmes offered by Telangana universities and colleges based on their ranking and college preferences. 

Q:   Where can I find dates for TS LAWCET 2026 counselling?
A:

To know the TSLAWCET counselling dates, visit the TGCHE website. The detailed schedule for the counselling will be available there. Do not forget to register online for participating.

Q:   Who is eligible for TS LAWCET counselling?
A:

To be eligible for TS LAWCET counselling, candidates belonging to the General category must have secured 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks). The OBC category students must score atleast 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks), and for the SC/ST category, there is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates. However, for the 3-year LL.B. course, any graduate degree candidate with (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognised University or its equivalent can apply and for the 5-year LL.B. course, two year Intermediate Examination with (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent is acceptable.

TS LAWCET 2025 Documents Required During Counselling 

Refer to the documents listed below required for TS LAWCET counselling 2025: 

  • Aadhar Card or any other valid ID proof
  • TS LAWCET 2025 Rank Card
  • Memorandum of marks of SSC or equivalent
  • Memorandum of marks of Intermediate or equivalent (Class 12)
  • Memorandum of marks in Qualifying Examination (Class 12 marks memorandum for 5-year LLB and Graduation marks memorandum for 3-year LLB)
  • Provisional / Degree Certificate of Qualifying Examination 
  • Migration Certificate (If applicable).
  • Study certificates from 5th class to Graduation
  • Residence Certificate (for Telangana candidate)

(OR)

  • Employer Certificate (for candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local bodies, Universities and other similar Quasi Public Institutions within the State at the time of applying for TS LAWCET - 2025) examination.
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Caste certificates for reserved category candidates
  • Latest Parental Income certificate issued by M.R.O. by Govt. of Telangana on or after 01.01.2025.
  • Minority Certificate for Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates

TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling Registration Fees

The candidates will be required to pay the TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling registration fee as mentioned below. This fee is to facilitate the counselling process and to bear the cost of administering the counselling. Different categories of students have different fee structures to ensure the accessibility of the exam to all groups and categories of candidates.

How to Register for TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling?

Candidates may check the steps provided below to register for the TGLAWCET/ PGLCET counselling process:

  • Go to the TGCHE's official counselling website - tgche.ac.in
  • Navigate through the page and click on the "TG LAWCET & TS PGLCET-2025 Admissions" option.
  • Now click on "Apply Online" option.
  • Log in by using your "TS LAWCET/ PGLCET 2025 hall ticket number" and "TS LAWCET Rankcard"
  • Enter the important details such as candidate’s name, category, candidature type, course opted for, etc.
  • Fill in the counselling registration form and pay the counselling registration fee. 
  • Submit the TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling registration form & create its multiple copies for future reference.
Q:   What is verified list of eligible registered candidates in TS LAWCET counselling?
A:

The TGCHE admission cell releases a list of candidates whose application for TSLAWCET counselling is verified and approved. These candidates can further participate in the web-options exercise to choose their preferred college for admission. The candidates whose names does not appear in the verified candidate's list will then have to upload the documents required within the deadline to verify get their candidature verified. 

Q:   What is web-options exercise in TS LAWCET counselling?
A:

During the web-option exercise, candidates eligible to participate in the counselling and whose documents are verified will have to select the college of their preferences online. The list of colleges accepting the students for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-Year LLB is released by the TS LAWCET admission cell on the official website. The candidates can select atleast three colleges for their admission during the TS LAWCET web -option exercise.

A:

The web option in TS LAWCET counselling is the process of entering preferred colleges and courses. You can select colleges and courses, in order of your preference.

What After TS LAWCET 2025 Counselling Registration?

Once the candidates register for the TS LAWCET 2025 counselling, the next step is the physical verification of category certificates. The Telangana examination cell will then publish the list of candidates whose documents have been verified. Registered candidates will then be required to exercise web options, wherein they will have to select the college of their preference for admission.

The provisional allotment list will be published online, mentioning the names of the candidates and their allotted colleges. The candidates will be required to report to the allotted college for documents and certificate verification.
