What is a TS LAWCET 2026 Good Rank?
A good rank in TS LAWCET 2026 for top law colleges ranges from 100-200 for general category candidates. Candidates with 90+ marks out of 120 in the TS LAWCET entrance exam will be able to secure a rank within the top 100 rankers. Ranks starting from 400 to 1000 will get seats in the top private law colleges in Telangana. Candidates who have scored 75-80 marks out of 120 will be able to secure this rank. The web option in TS LAWCET counselling is the process of entering preferred colleges and courses. You can select colleges and courses, in order of your preference.
During the web-option exercise, candidates eligible to participate in the counselling and whose documents are verified will have to select the college of their preferences online. The list of colleges accepting the students for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-Year LLB is released by the TS LAWCET admission cell on the official website. The candidates can select atleast three colleges for their admission during the TS LAWCET web -option exercise.
The TS LAWCET qualifying criteria refer to the category-wise minimum marks required to pass the exam. There are no qualifying marks for the SC and ST category candidates. However, General candidate need 35% marks.
How to find the TS LAWCET Rank?
The TS LAWCET rank card is released every year by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The rank card remains valid only for that academic year in which the exam is conducted for admission.

The examination body conducts counselling for granting admission to the 3-Year LLB. There are approximately 5,760 seats offered for admission in both government and private colleges. In the 5-year LLB course, candidates will have to compete to get admission to approximately 2,520 seats. These were the cutoff ranks for admission in the Round-1 counselling admission to top government colleges last year. The official TS LAWCET cutoff marks will not be available on a single webpage. This is because the cutoffs are determined for each counselling round and for each participating college and course. Thus, each college participating in TS LAWCET will release the cutoff marks on its official webiste.
However, you can find the TS LAWCET cutoff marks on the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) after they declare the results at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The cutoffs are generally released separately for each round of counselling.
