The TS LAWCET 2026 Application last date has been extended. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has allowed candidates to fill out the TS LAWCET 2026 Application Form till April 10, 2026 for those who do not wish to pay the late fee. Candidates can apply for the TG LAWCET 2026 till May 13, 2026, with late fee payment. The exam authority started the TS LAWCET 2026 application process on February 10, 2026 for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses online at lawcet.tgche.ac.in.

The TS LAWCET exam is scheduled to be held on May 18, 2026, in online mode at designated exam centres. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 class with a minimum of 45% marks will be able to apply to the 5-year LLB programme, while those with a bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks are eligible for admission to the 3-year LLB programme through TS LAWCET. TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Osmania University will conduct the Telangana LAWCET 2026 in a Computer-Based Test mode. To be considered for admission, the candidate will have to qualify in the exam, securing minimum qualifying marks. The TG LAWCET 2026 application form for five-year integrated LLB courses and three-year LLB courses is the same. Candidates can select their respective courses at the time of registration only.

Moreover, candidates applying for TG LAWCET need not apply separately for colleges accepting TG LAWCET scores

Aspirants who want to apply for the TG LAWCET 2026 must meet the eligibility criteria for their respective law course. To help them know whether they are eligible to fill out the TG LAWCET application form for a 5-year LLB course or a 3-year LLB course, the TG LAWCET 2026 eligibility criteria have been provided here:

TS LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Important Points

Before filling out the TG LAWCET application form 2026, candidates also need to consider the following important points related to the TG LAWCET eligibility

  • Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12 or graduation final exam must have their final year marksheet at the time of TG LAWCET counselling 2026 to get admission to a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB programme. 
  • Aspirants who have completed a polytechnic degree can apply for the TG LAWCET. 
  • The polytechnic degree will be considered equivalent to a Class 12 degree. 
  • Individuals who have completed their graduation through a single sitting exam without appearing in the first- and second-year exams are not eligible for TG LAWCET 2026 3-year LLB course admissions. 
  • Candidates who complete their education through an open university system are not eligible for admission to a 5-year LLB course or a 3-year LLB course through the TS LAWCET 2026 exam. 
  • The following percentages to apply for law courses through TG LAWCET will also be considered after rounding them off:

To apply for the TS LAWCET 2026 exam, candidates have to follow the given registration process below-

Online Registration & Payment

The first step of the TSLAWCET online registration is the fee payment. Only those candidates will be allowed to proceed further who receive the payment reference ID:

  1. Online payment - Before candidates can fill out the application form of TS LAWCET, they need to pay the registration fee. Payments can be made using Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking particulars - lawcet.tgche.ac.in/TSLAWCET/TSLAWCET_PaymentGatewaypage.aspx 
  2. Payment at TS/AP Online Centre -  For this mode of payment, you need to visit a TS/ AP online center; the list of such centers will be notified by the exam officials at the time of the start of the application form. To make the payment at a TS/AP online center, you will need to produce the admit card of your qualifying exam. After you make the payment, don't forget to collect the payment receipt and note down the transaction id.

Follow these steps for succesfu; form submission at the official website: 

  1. Click on the checkbox for ‘I accept the Terms & Conditions' at the bottom of the application window
  2. Click on ‘Submit’ and a preview of the filled-in application form will appear on the screen
  3. Complete the application submission process and download the application form
  4. Also, get at least two printouts of the submitted application form

TS LAWCET 2026 Application Correction Window

During the TS LAWCET 2026 Application Correction Window, candidates will be able to edit/ modify their application details after they have submitted the application form. TSCHE will open the TS LAWCET correction window to let them tweak the incorrect details, including academic profile and personal profile, in the application form. Moreover, candidates can also update exam centre choices through this application correction window. 

  • To correct/ edit the application form, candidates have to log in using Payment Reference ID, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.
  • Check official documents to update the correct details in the application forms.
  • Once the application correction window is over, candidates will not be able to change/ correct their application form. 

The TSLAWCET correction window will open from May 3 to May 8, 2026

Q:   What is the total number of questions in the TS LAWCET question paper?

There are a total of 120 questions in the TS LAWCET question paper. Following is the segregation of marks for each section:

  • General Knowledge & Mental Ability: 30 questions
  • Current Affairs: 30 questions
  • Aptitude for the Study of Law: 60 questions

The Aptitude for the Study of Law is the most important section of the TS LAWCET exam because majority of the questions are asked in this section and it carries a weightage of equal to 60 marks out 120 marks.
