TG LAWCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Ranking

If you want a rank in TG LAWCET 2026, you must follow few rules made by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). These are simple points you should know before applying.

Qualification Rules

To appear for TG LAWCET 2026 exam, you need right education.

  • For 3-year LL.B., you must finish a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized college with at least 45% marks (for SC/ST it’s 40%).
  • If you go for 5-year LL.B., you should pass Intermediate (10+2) or same level exam with 45% marks minimum (40% for SC/ST).
  • Make sure your marks are from valid board or university.

Minimum Marks for Ranking

  • You must get 35% marks (42 out of 120) in TG LAWCET 2026 to be counted for ranking.
  • For SC/ST candidates, there is no fixed minimum marks rule for ranking.

If you score less than that, you won’t get a rank even if you wrote the test.

Ranking Method

Ranks are given based on your TG LAWCET 2026 score.

When two people get same marks, tie is broken like this:

  • First, marks in Part-C (Aptitude for Study of Law) are checked.
  • Then, marks in Part-B (Current Affairs) are seen.
  • If still same, the older candidate gets higher rank.

This way, ranking stays fair for everyone.
