My life was like that of any other child, living in the fairytale world but then at one bright morning my dreams had to be broken to step into the world of reality. It was the time after passing class XIIth that I had to choose my path for future.
Since childhood I was always perplexed regarding my future. Being an average child I never took a risk to dream big because to be frank I never had interest in studies. I always had that misconception in my mind that Science is for bright students so like a copycat I opted for Science but believe me I cried taking Science and then anyhow I managed to passed with 80%.

How I chose my course and college
Then it was time for my college, I was in a blank state of mind as to what should I choose. I gave the entrance exam for law in Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Delhi, but then I couldn’t crack it. While surfing for the entrance form, I spotted the option of mass media course. I thought of appearing for the entrance for BA(Hons) in Mass Media because this field is gaining importance in today’s world. Everyone is connected with each other due to mass media and by God’s grace I was able to crack it.
How I made the most of my college life
Though I had no interest initially in this filed but as I went on with it, I was able to recognise my capability in this field. Then things changed when I got my 1st semester result, from an average child I became the topper.
My interest developed and now I am consistent topper of my class in mass media. I have developed passion for it and now with this passion I will explore different areas of this field. I am now well conversant with all aspects of media like print, journalism, advertisement writing, media management as well as laws about media.
From my life I’ve learnt that things in which we land up dispassionately can lead us to big success. I work together along with my friends, in making documentaries and videos. Recently, we have started a youtube channel and uploaded a video on demonetization. College has made me an independent person, I have developed confidence in myself to face the outside world and to distinguish myself from others.
Presently, I am doing internship in National Herald and All India Radio and also have internship experience of other media houses and also aired the program on 93.5 Red FM with RJ Heena. My future plan is to enroll myself for mass communication in AJK MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia and to work in the field of film production as it is my favourite field. I would also like to go into the field of Radio. I have interest in this field as it keeps us connected with each other and makes us aware about happenings around us.
