Guest lecture are happening through Webinar or Google Meet: Aman, LPU

I am pursuing my MBA from Lovely Professional University. This pandemic situation is going to be more challenging for all of us. As we are moving towards our final year to tackle the challenges related to our studies, internships and placements will become more challenging. All the colleges have come up with the virtual classes options. Initially, we were sceptical about the results of these virtual systems - whether it would be hard or easy for us. Once, our HOD of the Soft Skill Department told us that when everything seems tough then the journey will be more interesting for all of you. Keeping that in mind, we started taking online classes.

• Yes, LPU had started the virtual classes after the March 15
• The university started the classes on the LPU Live (LPU had created this chatting application for the LPU students) and LPU UMS (This is the platform where we get our reading materials and assignments).
• When the lockdown period started, they came up with the option of online video lecture according to the class timetables. We are attending all our classes according to the timetable on Google Meet platform.
• Classes are being taken between 9 am -5 pm according to the college timing. We never felt during the class timing that we are not in the classes. Classes are interactive and fruitful for all the students.
• Apart from the classes, the university conducts guest lecture through the webinar or Google Meet regularly. As we are pursuing an MBA, it is very beneficial for us in terms of placements.
• They are covering all the syllabus that are related to the academic and placements.
• One of the biggest advantages for us related to our assignments and the live projects is that our faculties are helping us in the assignment completion. One of the best things is that they had made collaboration with several educational websites so that we can access them freely. Moreover, we have submitted at least three assignments of each subject.
• Also, all the faculty members have changed their teaching style and made it comfortable for the students. The faculties are taking an assessment on these virtual platforms. They are taking in that way cheating cannot be possible. They have changed many of the question paper into analytical thinking based questions.
• The notes provided by the teachers are helpful in the preparation of the end-term examination. Apart from the academics, they are providing us with tips to utilise this time in the certification courses and virtual internships too. At last, the faculty members of LPU are very cooperative and they are giving their best to help students during this pandemic.
