IIM Calcutta announces final result of MBA admission 2020
IIM Calcutta has announced the final result of MBA admission through CAT 2019. Candidates can check their shortlist status on the official website.
IIM Calcutta declared the final result of MBA admission through CAT 2019 on May 14. Candidates who appeared for WAT-PI round for MBA admission in March can check their shortlist status on the official website of the institute, using their official ID. IIM Calcutta will send the offer of admission letter via email.
Among the group of institutes, IIM Ahmedabad was the first one to announce final result of MBA admission process on May 8. IIM Bangalore announced the final shortlist on May 9. Other IIMs are expected to announce the final shortlist by May 15.
How to check IIM Calcutta final result 2020
CAT 2019 result was announced on January 4 and IIM Calcutta conducted the WAT-PI round in March. To check IIM Calcutta final result 2020 for MBA admission, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open IIM Calcutta website in a new tab or click here
- Enter CAT 2019 registration number and email ID
- Click on submit to check your shortlist status

COVID-19 outbreak in the country has delayed admission process across the country. With closure of campuses and nation-wide lock down, WAT-GD-PI round of many institutes including the IIMs were affected. The top IIMs like Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta had conducted the WAT-PI round in February-March, other IIMs had scheduled WAT-PI in late March and April. With the announcement of nationwide lockdown, these institutes had to either postpone WAT-PI or conduct it virtually. IIM Lucknow and IIM Indore cancelled WAT and conducted PI round virtually in order to complete admission process before July 21.
