IIM Udaipur waitlist 2026 can be expected in June. The waitlist will be released category wise of SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS and General candidates. Candidates who have met the final admission criteria but have not been able to find a place in the final merit list, stand a chance to get a seat through IIM Udaipur waitlist movement.
IIM Udaipur Waitlist Movement: How are Seats Allotted?
IIM Udaipur allots seats in full-time MBA programme by evaluating an applicant’s candidature on the basis of their CAT score, academic profile, work profile and PI performance. First round of selection is down through CAT exam score. The final selection is done after the PI round has been conducted. The merit list is prepared on the basis of Composite Score.
Candidates who score the highest are selected in the merit list and rest are kept in waiting. Once the admission is closed for first round, the admission cell evaluates remaining seats and waitlist candidates. The next lot of high scorers are offered admission through the waitlist.

After the declaration of CAT results, IIMs and other top MBA colleges start the candidate shortlisting process. The institutes fix CAT cut offs category wise and invite applicants to appear for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion GD and Personal Interview PI rounds for MBA Admission.
