Nearly 90 percent of the companies that visit the college is in this domain. Other domains from which companies visit include finance, HR and operations.  In terms of packages, marketing and sales department offer high salaries.

Last year, 600 MBA students nearly 450 were eligible for the placement. The starting package offered was Rs 3 lakh.

For the batch of 2020, right now placements are going on. More than 75 percent of the students have got placed in reputed companies, and the highest package offered is Rs 12.50 lakh per annum. Some of the prominent companies that have visited the college include Federal Bank, MRF Tyres, WNS, Moody Analytics, Topper, etc. Almost 100 percent of students, eligible for placement, were recruited.

From the past two years, Amazon and Trident offer the highest package of Rs 15 lakh per annum. Companies such as Federal Bank offer Rs 7.5 LPA package while other IT-related companies offer over Rs 5 LPA.

Questions that these companies ask are directly related to the student’s resume that they have built for their placement drives. There are some that ask questions related to current affairs. The most interesting questions asked included count the table of 19, square roots, cube roots, analytical-based questions.  And, just because of the huge competition, getting a dream company is quite hard. Every year, MBA students are increasing and the number of colleges are increasing day-by-day. So, it is making off-campus and on-campus placements competitive.

For in-campus placement drive, companies that visit LPU, demand fast learners and highly skilled students. During the interviews, one of the most challenging phases is the quantitative ability test because of the high-level question set up by some companies.
