Internships should be considered mock placements. A successful internship is an important step towards better placement

Generally, companies start to visit from the month of January and internship is conducted in the month of June and July for major cases. During the internship, the interns get direct industrial exposure, for the first time students who are deprived of work experience face the real-life problems and deals with genuine market and its customers of the employees of the organisation. The internships are paid and after completion of the period, the students are awarded certificates. The most attractive part of internship from my side is, the interns with exceptional performance are often offered pre-placement offer. The internship is the most important milestone for placement. The Lovely Professional University offers a summer internship to the placement registered students but if any student is willing then they can opt for off-campus internship opportunities, too.

For selection, the students have to undergo GD & PI rounds similarly like the final placement. An internship can also be called mock placement. Some companies also conduct aptitude around for better selection of candidates.

A mentor is allotted to a group of students for better guidance and ease of work. The mentor takes care of the student’s attendance during the working days, the student submits a report to their respected mentor throughout the internship, and then after the session starts a final report is submitted followed by a viva.

I have observed very less about SRM Chennai but still I know enough of SRM Chennai. My conclusion is that LPU is step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU is really a step ahead, with:
1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial ti

Both are solid choices, but honestly, if I had to lean somewhere, I'd go with B.Tech CSE from LPU. Here's why a B.Tech degree simply carries more weight in the industry. Whether you're sitting for campus placements, applying abroad, or eyeing core tech roles, a B.Tech from LPU opens doors that a BCA

LPU is a pretty good option for BBA honestly. It's NAAC A+ accredited, has decent NIRF rankings, and offers multiple specializations like Business Analytics, Finance, and IT. Placements are solid with 700+ companies visiting campus, and starting salaries typically range from ₹3-6 LPA. Plus being in

For MBA, I would prefer LPU because of its stronger placement support, industry-oriented curriculum, and larger recruiter participation. The MBA programme includes live projects, internships, corporate interactions, and specialisation choices. Students get exposure to industry experts and leadership
