Anna University will release TANCET 2019 application form on May 6. The application form will be available online on the official website. Candidates should note that TANCET 2019 registration form is common for all courses -MCA/MBA/ME/MTech/MArch/MPlan. While filling the application form, candidates need to pay Rs 500 (Rs 200 for SC/SCA/ST categories) through online payment gateway.

Any candidate who has completed their graduation with 50% (45% for reserved category) can register for TANCET 2019. However, the eligibility criteria differ as per the programmes. Candidates qualifying GATE are not required to register for TANCET as they are exempted from the exam. While GATE qualified candidates of Life Science paper will have to fill TANCET 2019 application form.  

The steps given below will guide candidates while filling TANCET application form.

Steps to fill TANCET 2019 Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website Anna University

Step 2: Register for the exam by entering the basic details

Step 3: Enter the user ID and password generated after TANCET 2019 registration to fill other details in the application form

Step 4: Candidates need to upload their scanned images of photograph and signature as per prescribed dimension

Step 5: Applicants need to pay the requisite fees to register for the exam

Step 6: Candidates should verify the details and submit their application

Applicants can edit the details entered in TANCET 2019 application form within the prescribed dates of application. After final submission, candidates cannot make any changes in the application form. Candidates registering successfully for the exam will be issued TANCET 2019 hall ticket few days before the exam.

TANCET or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to MTech/March/MPlan/ME/MBA and MCA programmes. The exam will be conducted offline across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu. The duration of the test is 2 hours. The test will carry total of 100 marks.
