The right decision that I took for building my career: Aditi Mondal

Those days were the pivotal days of my life. I was very focused about getting a high packaged job at MNC and I was sure that the University would provide me with the stairs to success.

My graduation days have been a standout amongst all other experiences of my life. I saw myself developing from a girl with low confidence to the confident person that I am today. I took part in loads of events occurring in the LPU campus during graduation and that has transformed my personality.

It was while I was pursuing my BBA from Lovely Professional University when I actually fell in love with the corporate world and decided to do some wonders in this field only. That time I was aware that there was still a mile left to reach my goal. But, I decided, no matter how hard I had to work, I would accomplish what I desired. After completion of BBA from LPU, I was about to take a very crucial decision of my life. I was motivated to take admission in MBA from the same University. I was not so sure, but watching the MBA students getting prepared for the corporate world raised my confidence and I took the right decision. I started interacting with my seniors; I found that so many of my seniors were placed in the top MNCs of the world such as Google, Amazon, Cisco, Apple, ITC, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Colgate, Palmolive and many more by getting placed from the LPU Campus. And then, without giving any second thought, I got myself enrolled for MBA at LPU.

I gave the entrance test for MBA at LPU and fortunately, I cleared it with good scores. Those days were the pivotal days of my life. I was very focused about getting a high packaged job at MNC and I was sure that the University would provide me with the stairs to success. The best part was, we were not limited to our classroom education, but University also gave us the opportunity to practice professionalism. We took part in management activities in various events conducted at the campus, which was counted as our class assessment and we were given scores based on our performances. During events, we used to dress up in formal attire that is white shirt, black pant and coat along with a tie and we actually had that feeling of being a professional.

One thing that I really liked about the culture of LPU is, it not only focuses on academic growth but the full development of a student. The faculty members are very helpful and they do not dominate the students; instead, they motivate students to achieve heights. Presently I am in the final year of MBA and placement drives are going on at the campus. I am extremely excited about getting placed. Let’s hope that I get what I am here for.

At Lovely Professional University, you can take admission in BTech CSE through their own test called LPUNEST or based on your 12th marks.

JEE is not compulsory, but if you have a good JEE score, it can help you get admission and scholarship.

For B.Sc. Agriculture at LPU, the basic requirement is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and the usual eligibility is around 60% in aggregate. With 58%, you are very close to the requirement, so eligibility can depend on the current admission cycle and official university criteria, which ma
