I am pursuing my MBA from Lovely Professional University. Due to this virus outbreak, the studies of students are suffering the most across the country. By looking at the scenario our university is taking many steps so that student’s studies go with time smoothly. The university is helping students in their studies without wasting time.

Firstly, the university has developed an online app LPU Live where several groups of classes have been made as per their subjects and the teacher comes online as per their respective class timings. The students can ask their queries and also teacher gives them tasks to write or perform something. Also, the students could ask teachers for help regarding their group tasks.

Also, with that there are is an online app for online classes where classes are conducted as per the schedule or timetable. The teachers provide ppts of topics and discuss the same on online live classes. In case, any student faces any problem regarding the topic then they could also message on the LPU Live app. These applications are helping students effectively. The students are performing their tasks on time and classes are also going on timely and smoothly. The teachers are doing their best in helping students and also, they have shared their contact details so that in case of any emergency or internet issue the student could contact their faculty. Teachers are providing study material daily so that the students could learn the topic that is taught in the class.

We have a total of eight subjects, out of which two are practical subjects and one is soft skills. On an overage, we have at least three assignments per subject which are going on side-by-side. The teachers are guiding the students on the same. In our university, the assignments are submitted online only, so, this outbreak is not affecting the students much. The teachers are taking mock telephonic interviews and discussing the placement questions. Also with this, they are providing aptitude mock tests for preparation. On Saturdays, our pre-placement classes are conducted online.

For practical subjects like Digital Marketing and Tableau, the teachers are guiding us on live classes and they are also making YouTube videos and sharing the links with us and we are free to ask questions in case of any query.

The college is also providing information for the certifications and live project opportunities online. The teachers also understand the issues of late submission of the assignment and internet issues as faced by the students. The university is providing the facilities to its students to ensure that this pandemic could not become a hindrance in the path of education.
