BET exam pattern 2026 shows the way BET question paper is structured. It also depicts the marking scheme, number of questions, duration, etc. According to the BET paper pattern there are three sections in the question paper and duration of the exam is only 70 minutes. The BET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. Each question will have multiple choice answers, and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking and no marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.

BET 2026 Syllabus- Section-Wise Important Notes
Section 1: Numerical Reasoning
This section is most difficult section of BET question paper. Numerical reasoning section is about solving questions using logic. Advanced level mathematics is not required. Biggest challenge lies in being able to read a chart or table correctly, understand it and differentiate between information that is critical and information that is not. This section measures ability to draw accurate inferences from numerical or statistical data.

Section 2: Verbal Reasoning
This section checks proficiency in reading comprehension. Students should read passages and answer questions based on passages.
Section 3: InductiveThinking
This section measures ability to use logic, rational and critical thinking. It checks ability to determine conclusions drawn using the content. Students will be tested on their ability to interpret the meaning of a text, draw conclusions from it.

The BET syllabus includes three major sections, i.e. Verbal Reasoning, Numeric Reasoning and Inductive Reasoning. The important topics of the BET syllabus 2026 are:
Verbal Reasoning- Reading Comprehension, Tenses, Parts of Speech, Grammar, Error Spotting, Sentence Completion, Syllogims, Idioms, One word substitution, etc.
Numeric Reasoning- Number System, Algebra, Profit and Loss, HCF and LCM, Surds and Indices, Time Speed and Distance, Averages, Ratio and Proportions, Trigonometry, etc.
Inductive Reasoning- Blood Relations, Statements and Conclusions, Propositions, Data Arrangements, Direction Sense, Puzzles, Coding and Decoding, Series, Data Structures, etc.
A good score that supports the candidate's BET application for admissions is 35 points out of 50. In order to score 35, candidates will need to answer EVERY question on the test.
