ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education does not release IBSAT question papers on its official website. However, candidates can practice through IBSAT official mock test. IBS has released the IBSAT national mock test 2025 at admissions.ibsindia.org.  Attempting mock test will help candidates know the format of IBSAT question paper 2025 and gives candidates a real-time exam experience. IBSAT 2025 will be conducted remote proctored mode on December 27 and December 28, 2025.

Q:   When will be IBSAT exam conducted?
A: 

IBSAT 2025 will be held on December 27 and December 28. IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education for admission to MBA/PGPM programmes offered by IBS campuses. IBSAT will be a computer-based test conducted for two hours. IBSAT exam is conducted to assess candidates in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, data interpretation, reading comprehension and analytical reasoning. The IBSAT question paper will include 140 multiple-choice questions of one mark each. There will be no negative marking for any incorrect answers or unattempted questions. Candidates having scores in GMAT/NMAT by GMAC/XAT/CAT (from 2023 onwards) will be exempted from taking IBSAT 2025 exam. 

Q:   What are IBSAT important dates?
A: 

IBSAT 2025 important dates will be released on the ICFAI Business School website. Authorities will release the IBSAT 2025 important dates in first week of July. Candidates preparing for the IBSAT 2025 exam must stay updated with the schedule. Check the updated schedule for IBSAT 2025 exam below:

IBSAT 2025 Registrations: The online registration process of IBSAT 2025 will commence tentatively on July 01, 2025. Interested candidates will be able to register online for IBSAT 2025 to participate in exam. The last date for IBSAT registrations is expected to be in last week of December 2025.

IBSAT 2025 Hall Ticket: The admit card for IBSAT 2025 will be released online on the official website of ICFAI Business School. The admit card is available soon after slot booking. Only registered candidates will be able to download IBSAT 2023 admit cards till the date of examination. IBSAT admit card will be available in online mode only.

IBSAT 2025 Exam: The IBSAT 2025 exam will be conducted in last week of December 2025. The exam will be a computer-based test mode.

IBSAT 2025 Results: The result of the IBSAT 2025 exam will be announced tentatively in last week of December 2025 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their IBSAT result and download scorecards using their login credentials.

Q:   What are the Do's and Don'ts for online IBSAT exam?
A: 
  1. Download the admit card from the official website. The IBSAT admit card is the most important document of proof of all the candidates appearing for IBSAT 2024 exam.
  2. Candidates must check the wifi connection for a table internet connection while giving the exam.
  3. Sit in the calm corners of the home to avoid any kind of distractions.
  4. Check your webcam before beginning the exam.
  5. Keep the copy of IBSAT 2024 admit card ready on the desktop. 
  6. Keep the device charge wheel in advance.
  7. Ensure that the web cam and mic is working properly while giving examination.
  8. Ensure proper lightening in the room.
  9. Take the exam from a silent place in the home.
  10. Webcam must focus on face and is clearly visible in the camera.
  11. Candidates must capture the photos before beginning with the examination.
  12. Candidates must wear transparent and non-reflection glasses/lenses
  13. Water bottle must be transparent and must be kept besides before the start of the examination.

Q:   Is there a time limit for IBSAT mock tests?
A: 

Yes, IBSAT mock tests have a time limit as of the actual exam. Mock tests are a simulation of the IBSAT exam. As soon as the student proceeds to take the IBSAT mock test, the timer will start on the top right side of the screen. The IBSAT mock test will be similar to the actual exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the software/hardware requirements and analyse their performance before the actual IBSAT exam. Candidates will be required to answer 140 MCQs within a time duration of two hours or 120 minutes. Timer for 120 minutes will start as soon as the candidate clicks the 'Start IBSAT Mock Test' button.

ICFAI Business School will release the IBSAT 2025 notification at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programme of IBS must fill the online application form. Authorities have commenced the IBSAT 2025 registrations on July 01 and will end in third week of December 2025. IBSAT 2025 registration is an online process.

Q:   What will be the mode of IBSAT exam?
A: 

The IBSAT exam (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test), is conducted in an Computer-Based online mode. It is a computer-based test (CBT) wherein candidates are required to take the exam on a computer/laptop from their own homes. The exam is proctored remotely to ensure fairness and prevent any malpractice. During the IBSAT exam, aspirants are provided with a computer interface that allows them to answer MCQs within a specified time limit. IBSAT exam typically consists of sections covering Quantitative Aptitude verbal ability, data adequacy and interpretation, and reading comprehension. IBSAT exam is conducted for a duration of 120 minutes in which candidates have to attempt 140 questions of one mark each.

Q:   What is the score pattern in IBSAT exam? How is the percentile calculated?
A: 
As per the IBSAT exam pattern, the marking scheme for IBSAT is as follows: 1. One mark for each correct answer 2. No negative marking On the basis of the score obtained by candidates in the IBSAT exam, they are shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Candidates meeting the IBSAT cutoff criteria are shortlisted for the selection rounds. Listed below is the IBSAT cutoff: 1. CAT & XAT 60 percentile and above 2. GMAT 500 + 3. NMAT by GMACTM 150+ The final selection for admission to programme and campus is calculated based on the following components and their weightage: 1. Class 10th- 10% 2. Class 12th- 15% 3. Graduation- 25% 4. Group Discussion- 25% 5. Interview- 25%. .
Q:   What actions can lead to the disqualification of the candidate during the IBSAT online proctored examination?
A: 
If students are found violating the rules of the examination or trying to adopt the unfair means will be disqualified from the examination. The system will detect any kind of unusual movements and will notify the online proctor on the following circumstances: 1. Focus changed to a different window: student tabs out of the examination taking window. 2. Browser not supported: Student is using an older browser version or a non-compatible browser 3. Webcam is disabled: Students webcam is disabled 4. Face is not visible in the camera: Student is not looking into the camera. 5. Several faces in front of the camera: There are other people along with the examination taker. 6. Face does not match the profile: Student taking the examination is not the same person whose photo was captured before starting the examination and as per the Hall-Ticket. 7. Microphone muted or its volume is low: Student has muted the microphone. 8. Conversation or noise in the background: System has captured background noise. 9. Screen activities are not shared: student has stopped screen share activity. 10. Second display is used: Additional display like extended monitor has been connected. 11. Full-screen mode is disabled: student has disabled full screen mode.
