Karnataka PGCET MArch Exam Dates 2026: Get Complete Exam Schedule Here

Karnataka PGCET exam dates and event schedule is released by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).  KEA conducts the Karnataka PGCET exam for admission to MBA/MCA, and MTech courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. Besides these courses, candidates aspiring for MArch courses are also required to fill the PGCET form to be considered for the centralised counselling process. Karnataka MArch admissions are based on CoA's PGETA. 

KEA releases the schedule for Karnataka PGCET exam, including the application schedule, admit card dates, exam dates, answer key release schedule, and result declaration dates. Besides these events, KEA also conducts the centralised counselling process for MBA admission and the schedule for the same is released seperately.

KEA conducts Karnataka PGCET with the following chronology of events that are important to note:

The Karnataka PGCET registration will tentatively begin in the first week of April 2026. Candidates must fill out the form online through the official KEA website before the deadline.

Karnataka PGCET registration starts around 30 to 45 days before the scheduled exam date. Candidates are informed about the last date for PGCET registration along with the publication of information bulletin.

The last date to apply for Karnataka PGCET exam is expected to lie in the third week of April. The exact deadline will be notified in the official information bulletin.

Usually the Karnataka PGCET admit card is released 10 days before the exam, as per the past year trends. However, in the current session, candidates have been issued the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket around 6 days before the exam. Candidates aree allowed to download the Karnataka PGCET admit card until the exam date.  

To download the Karntaka PGCET admit card candidates have to use Karnataka PGCET registration number and password. Candidates were able to check details like their name, Karnatka PGCET roll number, father’s name, photograph, signature, exam date and time, exam venue with complete address, and the Karnataka PGCET exam day instructions.

The admit card is typically released 10 days before the exam date. For the 2026 session, candidates can download it tentatively from the first week of May.

KEA will conduct Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam for MBA and MCA courses on May 14. PGCET exam for ME/MTech courses is to be held on May 23.

KEA has only one shift each for different courses for admission via Karnataka PGCET scores. PGCET MBA exam will have one shift. KEA will also conduct single shift for MCA exam.

The Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam for MBA and MCA courses is scheduled for May 14, 2026. The exam for ME and M.Tech courses will be conducted on May 23, 2026.

Karnataka PGCET provisional answer key is published on the official website. Candidates must navigate to PGCET admissions tab to get the PGCET answer key link.

The final Karnataka PGCET answer key will be published along with the results. Based on the answers in he final key the scores will be calculated for final result. No objections are entertained against the final key. Candidates will have to visit the official website to access the Karnataka PGCET final answer key PDF.

As per the official Karnataka PGCET brochure, the answer key is available within three days after the completion of the entrance test on the KEA website. Karnataka PGCET official answer keys are released on the official website for all courses, including MBA and MCA.

The candidates / parents / lecturers, are allowed to file their objections, if any, within three days in respect of any of the published answer key. Candidates are also required to submit all the supporting documents & justification for the objection filed. Objections filed by the candidates without justification shall not be considered. Objections received after the last date fixed shall not be considered. Objections received by the KEA will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final in this regard.

The provisional answer key is released within three to four days after the exam. Candidates can check it online and raise objections before the final key is published.

Besides the MBA, MCA admissions, Karnataka PGCET exam also aids the MTech admission for candidates who do not have a valid GATE score. There is no fixed timeline for Karnataka PGCET exam. The exam dates for MBA and MCA exam remains the same. Whereas, the PGCET exam date for ME/MTech courses is different. Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam is generally conducted in the month of June for MBA and MCA courses.

Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted once every year. The exam score is valid for one exam session only. The Karnataka PGCET exam is usually conducted in the month of May. KEA is conducted Karnataka PGCET 2026 exams on May 14 and May 23.

The Karnataka PGCET exam is conducted only once a year. The exam score remains valid for one academic session for admission into PG courses in Karnataka.

Karnataka PGCET exam duration is exactly 120 minutes. KEA conducts the exam in a single shift for each course. Candidates must answer all 100 questions within allocated time frame.

Candidates should start their preparation at least three to six months in advance. Covering the vast graduation-level syllabus and taking regular mock tests requires consistent, early, and dedicated effort.
