Candidates need to follow the steps below to check the MICAT result for phase 1 and 2.

3rd Step: Enter the user ID
4th Step: Enter the password

MICAT 2026: How is GE-PI Shortlist Prepared?

MICAT Psychometric Test is a qualifier which means every candidate has to pass this test to have any chance of making it to the GE/PI list.

After qualifying for the Psychometric Test, the candidates shall be assessed for Verbal Ability (VA), Quantitative Ability (QA), General Awareness (GA) and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR).

Those who qualify based on relative performance subject to a minimum cut off in Section B will be assessed on their performance in Section C or Descriptive Test.

Those who qualify for Section C shall be considered for shortlisting for GE and PI.

Shortlist will be prepared on the basis of MICAT 1 and /or MICAT 2 or better of the two scores if a candidate has taken both MICAT I and MICAT II for admission batch 2026-28.

Approximately, 1/10th of the total number of candidates who appear in both the exams will be shortlisted for GE/PI based on the Total MICAT 2026 scaled score.

After the release of MICAT scores, MICA releases MICAT GE-PI shortlist. Candidates who are shortlisted for GE-PI have to book slots for the selection rounds. Candidates have to appear for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI). The final selection is based on performance in several parameters including MICAT score, performance in GE and PI, etc. MICAT GE and PI is conducted in five cities across India, namely Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
The selection process for GE and PI is created by taking into consideration - CAT/ XAT/ GMAT and 50 per cent MICAT scores (each component carries 50 per cent weightage). Candidates can check the shortlist status of their GE PI process online on the official website. Candidates have to visit the MICA official website and find the link for GE & PI Shortlist. Then, they have to enter MICA Application Number. After that they have to click on the link that says 'Get Result'. The shortlist status will then appear on the screen.
