SRCC GBO counselling 2025: The SRCC GBO admission process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) which is conducted by Shri Ram College of Commerce. The GDPI round exam centre will be in Delhi. SRCC GBO scores are important for PGDM GBO admission to SRCC. The admission process for PGDGBO based on SRCC GBO starts after the declaration of SRCC GBO exam results. SRCC GBO result 2025 was announced on April 1, 2025. SRCC GBO Admission Process 2025: Key Points

SRCC conducts the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) round for full-time PGDGBO admission. The institute conducts the admission process as per the schedule announced online, thus aspirants must keep checking the official notification. 

  • SRCC GBO candidates must note that the exam conducting body, SRCC, conducts a common admission process or counselling for seat allocation.

  • SRCC GBO admission criteria and selection process are announced through official notifications 
  • Candidates who qualify the SRCC GBO exam, can apply for admission to PGDGBO programmes offered by SRCC based on their SRCC GBO score.

  • Candidates who qualify the SRCC GBO, have to appear for the GDPI to be eligible to be considered for admissions.

Q:   Do any IIMs accept SRCC GBO scores?
A: 

No, IIM does not accept SRCC GBO test scores for admission. If you want to get admission to the IIM, you will have to appear in the CAT exam. With the score of the SRCC GBO test, you can get admission to the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce. If you wish to take admission to any Indian Insitute of Management, then you need to appear for the Common Admissions Test (CAT). 

Q:   What is the SRCC GBO counselling process?

The SRCC GBO counselling process typically includes document verification, personal interviews, and group discussions. Candidates who appeared for the SRCC GBO exam and met the SRCC GBO cutoff released by the Shri Ram College of Commerce will be invited for the counselling process. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the SRCC GBO exam.

SRCC GBO Admission Criteria 2025

As mentioned above, candidates are selected based on three criteria, i.e. SRCC GBO exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. SRCC will draw a merit list based on the scores obtained by the applicants in the written test and will accordingly call the students for the further selection procedure. A limited number of candidates will be invited for the GDPI round in order of the merit list released for each category. After the GDPI round, SRCC will release the final merit list which will have aggregate marks scored by the candidates in all three rounds. Check the weightage of each round in the table below.

A final merit list will be issued after the students clear the SRCC GBO written exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Students who score negatively in the aggregate in the online test will not be eligible for the GDPI round. Appearing in GDPI is mandatory for admission into SRCC’s PG Diploma programme.

To secure admission into the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, students have to qualify in all three selection processes. If the student's aggregate marks match the SRCC GBO cutoff, they can appear for the GDPI round. Candidates who clear the GDPI round will then be eligible to secure a seat in SRCC. 

Students belonging to the 'Foreign Nationals' category must hold a valid passport or citizenship card and are not required to appear for SRCC GBO and GDPI. They will be evaluated on the following criteria.

Q:   What is the mode of SRCC GBO counselling?
A: 
The SRCC GBO counselling is conducted in offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for SRCC GBO exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview and/ or GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres. Candidates who meet the SRCC GBO cutoff, need to visit the centre for document verification as per their rank and other selection rounds such as PI and GD. The seat allotment process is also conducted online based on the merit, category, and choices filled by the candidate during the registration process. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website. The entire SRCC GBO counselling process except the PI, GD and document verification round is conducted in online mode.

Candidates who match the SRCC GBO cutoff criteria, will be invited to appear for the further selection process which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview . If the candidates are shortlisted after the counselling process, he/she will be required to carry a set of documents for the admission process. SRCC GBO results will be released online on the official website of SRCC GBO. Candidates will be able to check the scorecard online using their login credentials. A merit list will be released after the SRCC GBO exam which will contain the list of candidates who have cleared the exam, and they will have to appear for the GD-PI round for further selection procedure. 

Q:   When and where will the SRCC GBO counselling process be conducted?
A: 

SRCC GBO exam is conducted once a year in the computer-based test mode.  The exam is conducted for 120 minutes at various test centres across the country wherein candidates have to solve 160 MCQ-based questions from 4 sections. The GBO entrance exam is level 1 screening and those candidates who clear the SRCC GBO cut-off are then further called for other rounds of selection at SRCC which includes, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
