AIAPGET syllabus 2025 is the first thing that an applicant looks for to start his/ her preparation. AIAPGET 2025 is an entrance test for admission into the postgraduate courses of four disciplines. Hence the syllabus of AIAPGET 2025 varies for each discipline. The AIAPGET syllabus basically covers all the topics that have been covered in the undergraduate course of that particular discipline. For example, if a candidate is applying for a master’s degree in Ayurveda, his/ her syllabus for AIAPGET 2025 will be the course curriculum for BHMS. Q:   Who releases syllabus for AIAPGET?
A: 

AIAPGET syllabus is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The syllabus is released on the official AIAPGET website, and it varies for each discipline. The syllabus covers all the topics that have been covered in the undergraduate course of the particular discipline. For example, for a master's degree in Ayurveda, the syllabus will be based on the course curriculum for BHMS. The syllabus for AIAPGET is very vast as it covers entire course curriculum at undergraduate level of BAMS, BHMS, BSMS and BYMS.

Q:   Do I need to prepare both the syllabus of BAMS, BHMS for AIAPGET?
A: 

Yes. Candidates need to prepare whole syllabus for AIAPGET exam comprising topics and subjects studied for BAMS and BHMS at undergraduate level. In addition, candidates also need to prepare chapters which were taught for BSMS and BYMS. Syllabus for AIAPGET exam is released by National Testing Agency with the official information brochure. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus first and prepare study plan accordingly. 

Q:   Who conducts AIAPGET exam?
A: 
The National Testing Agency NTA is responsible for conducting the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test. However, NTA's role is limited to conducting the examination and processing the results. The admission/ counselling is conducted under the supervision of the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC). Eligible candidates have to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment. They have to register and declare preference for college and course for counselling.
Q:   I want to know about AIAPGET and the list of MD and MS courses in Ayurveda.
A: 
MS in Ayurveda Eligibility Criteria Candidates must ensure to meet certain eligibility criteria to get admission in M. S. in Ayurveda. It is also important for interested candidates to know that meeting the following criteria do not, in any way, ensure a candidates admission in the course. There are several other factors as well that are taken into account for the final selection. Candidates must hold a Bachelors degree in a relevant field (preferably BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery Degree). The degree should be recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). After 4 years of the Bachelors degree, candidates must have completed a rotatory internship of six months. Candidates who hold an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree from an MCI (Medical Council of India) approved institution are also considered eligible for the course. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the intermediate level of examination. The maximum age requirement to pursue Master of Surgery in Ayurveda is 35 years. The criteria may vary from institution to institution. Master of Surgery in Ayurveda (M. S. Ayurveda) Admission Process Admission in M. S. Ayurveda can be done in two ways: direct admissions and through entrance exams. In order to get direct admission in the top Ayurveda colleges in India, candidates will have to meet the eligibility requirements of the course. After that, they will have to begin the application for M. S. Ayurveda at the college/ university. The application process could either be online or offline. For online application, candidates will have to create an account with the college/ university website and fill an online application form. The next step towards the admission process would be waiting for revert from the university. It is important for candidates to provide their valid email ID and mobile number at the time of registration as this information will be used by the institution for future correspondence regarding the application status. Entrance Exam-Based Admission Process Following are the stages of the entrance exam-based admission process for MS Ayurveda: Students submit online/offline application form to register for MS in Ayurveda entrance exams. Required documents like Aadhar card, voter ID card, and Marksheets of 10th, 12th, and final year need to be submitted along with the application form.

Students will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for AIAPGET exam:

  •  Internship: Students should have completed one year of internship
  • Educational Qualification: Students should have passed B.A. MS BUMS BSMS BHMS and Graded BHMS degrees or possess provisional pass certificates. Certificate Permanent or provisional registration Certificate of B.A. MS BUMS BSMS BHMS Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM, CCH, state board, universities, or deemed universities.
  • Age and number of attempts: There are no upper age criteria for the AIAPGET exam.
  • Students can appear as many times as he likes as there is no capping on the number of attempts. 
Q:   What is the AIAPGET exam?

AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test) is conducted for admissions to postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. The NTA (National Testing Agency) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), GoI (Government of India) conducts the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test exam. All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test is conducted annually in a computer-based mode. Students who qualify for the examination by scoring the minimum cut-off percentile can opt for Master of Surgery Doctor of Medicine, or Post-Graduation Diploma courses in the above-mentioned disciplines. Admission for Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery or Post-Graduation Diploma courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy are given on the basis of merit. Those who qualify for the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test will be asked for a counseling round which is conducted by AYUSH AACCC (Admissions Central Counseling Committee). Yes, there is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for AIAPGET. Therefore, you can apply for this examination. Candidates are advised to read all the eligibility criteria before applying online for the exam. Like age, there is no capping on number of attempts for AIAPGET. Candidates can appear as many times as they want. NTA will release cut off score for AIAPGET 2025 with result. The cut off score will be released for each course of AIAPGET including Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Unani. Cut off will also be released for each category. Last year cut off for general category for Ayurveda course was 389-123.
