Kerala University BSc (H) syllabus is divided into semester- pattern. The university provides only a single medium of teaching, i.e. English. During the three-year duration, students are required to study following courses:

Kariavattom Campus of Kerala University has a playground where students play football, cricket and hockey. A Gymnasium and other facilities for participating in adventure sports are available in the Department of Physical Education which houses a stadium as well. Kerala University provides offers three-year BCA, LL M, BSc, BEd, BVoc, BA, BBA, BCom, BFA, BHMCT, BMS, and BSW courses, five-year BArch two-year BEd and four-year BHM and BTech courses at the undergraduate level. To get an LLM seat at Kerala University, students have to go through a thorough screening process. First, students seeking admission must register and appear for the accepted entrance exam.
