Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2025 ( KCET )
KCET Counselling 2025: The exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), declared the round 3 provisional seat allotment. Candidates can check the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea for the same. Earlier, it conducted the 3 KCET 2025 counselling option entry from September 6 to 9, 2025. Earlier, it revised the KCET 2025 Round 2 post-allotment schedule.
KEA released the schedule for post-allotment events. Candidates can check here the dates to confirm their admission or participate in further rounds. The KCET 2025 results were announced on May 24. KCET Counselling 2025 – Detailed Procedure
KEA is conducting the KCET 2025 counselling online. Candidates can check the steps below -
KCET Registration and Document Verification
Candidates must arrive at the KCET counselling venue with the required documents. Applicants must carry the compulsory documents in their originals along with two sets of photocopies. The authority concerned will check all the documents. If all the documents are found correct, then the candidate will get a slip, which will have a unique ID and password.

KCET Choice Filling & Locking 2025
After KCET document verification, the candidates will have to log in to their account using a unique id and password. After that, candidates will have to fill out their preference of college and course. A candidate shall be able to check the course-wise, category-wise and college-wise seat matrix at the time of choice filling. Candidates are advised to select their preferences carefully. KCET Seat Allotment 2025
The seat allotment result of KCET 2025 will be released at the official website. Candidates have to log in to their accounts in order to download the KCET seat allotment letter. Reporting to the Allotted College
In order to confirm admission, candidates need to report to the allotted college on the mentioned date and time. Candidates are advised to carry the other required documents along with the KCET counselling allotment letter to the college for the purpose of verification.

Before the declaration of KCET seat allotment result, KEA has published mock allotment result at the official website. The mock seat allotment of KCET 2025 will be released as per the choices filled by the candidates at the time of choice filling. KCET mock allotment is similar to the actual seat allotment result.
However, applicants are allowed to change their choices after the declaration of mock seat allotment result. Applicants appearing in the counselling process are allowed to change their course and colleges options KCET mock allotment results. KEA will release the KCET mock seat allotment result 2025 for round 1 on July 19.

The KCET 2025 option entry process can be done in the following way -
- Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
- Click on the UGCET and login using the scan QR
- Capture photo and verify OTP
- Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 750
- Once the payment is sucessful, candidates can participate in the counselling process.
- Select the desired category, based on which you want to do the KCET option entry.
- Enter the list of the colleges and courses on the right side (rank them in your desired order)
- Rearrange and once you are satified
- Save and submit the KCET 2025 options.
The KEA has announced the KCET 2025 round 1 counselling dates on the website. The mock seat allotment result will be announced on July 19 and the KCET provisional seat allotment 2025 result will be declared on July 25.

KEA will commence the KCET 2025 counselling at the official website. The following documents are required at the time of KCET document verification 2025:
- KCET application form 2025.
- KCET admit card 2025.
- KCET application fee payment proof.
- Class 10/SSLC mark sheet & certificate.
- Class 12/2nd PUC mark sheet & certificate.
- 7 years study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI.
- Recent passport-size photograph (two copies).
- Income certificate.
- Rural study certificate.
- Caste certificate.
- Kannada medium certificate (Candidates who have studied in Kannada Medium from Class 1 to 10 in Karnataka and also outside the state of Karnataka.
- Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.
