Envision Energy has partnered with the IITB-Monash Research Academy to support and advance doctoral research, fostering innovation and strengthening industry-academia collaboration.

IITB-Monash Research Academy has partnered with Envision Energy India to drive innovation and research in the critical areas of Cybersecurity and Grid Stability. This collaboration leverages the academic excellence of IIT Bombay and Monash University alongside Envision Energy’s deep expertise in renewable energy systems, AI-driven energy management, and decarbonization technologies. The partnership aligns with the nation’s ambitious goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy, as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi.

As part of the partnership, Envision Energy will sponsor doctoral research for two scholars over four years. The research topics, identified by Envision Energy’s Chief Technology Officer, PR Gopan, address critical challenges facing India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector. The scholars are being selected through the Academy’s rigorous five-stage admission process and will collaborate with faculty from both IIT Bombay and the Monash Research Academy in Melbourne, while also engaging in fieldwork at Envision Energy India.

RPV Prasad, MD Envision Energy India said, “We believe that a collaboration between industry and academia is essential to address the complex challenges of the energy transition. By investing in Doctoral Research and Skill Development, we aim to accelerate innovation and contribute to building a more resilient and sustainable energy ecosystem.”

Envision Energy’s support helps us scale our program, create more PhDs, and further our progress on sustainable innovation."
