CDS 1 Exam 2025 Tomorrow: Know Shift Timings

CDS 1 Exam 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to conduct the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I) 2025 on April 13, 2025. Candidates aspiring to join the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers’ Training Academy will be appearing for CDS 1 exam 2025 across various centres nationwide.

Candidates must note that the CDS 1 exam for IMA, INA, and AFA includes three subjects: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. In contrast, the OTA exam comprises only two subjects: English and General Knowledge.

CDS 1 Exam 2025 Shift Timings

The CDS 1 written exam will be held in offline mode and divided into three papers for IMA, INA, and AFA candidates, while OTA aspirants will have two papers.

Here are the paper-wise timings:

• English: 9 to 11 AM
• General Knowledge: 12 to 2 PM
• Elementary Mathematics: 3 to 5 PM (Only for IMA, INA, AFA aspirants)

Documents to Carry at CDS 1 Exam Centre 2025

Candidates must bring the following to the exam centre:

• Admit Card (printout of the e-Admit Card issued by UPSC)
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, etc.)
• Passport-size Photographs (as per UPSC instructions, preferably the same as on admit card)
• Black Ballpoint Pen (for marking answers on the OMR sheet)

Electronic devices, calculators, smart watches, and mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the UPSC CDS exam hall.

Important CDS 1 Exam Day Instructions

• Ensure that all details on CDS admit card are correct. In case of discrepancies, report to UPSC immediately.
• Do not write anything on the OMR sheet except where instructed.
• Candidates should wear simple attire, and avoid wearing items like jackets or metal accessories which might attract scrutiny.
• Any form of unfair means or malpractice will lead to immediate disqualification.
