IBPS Admit Card 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) releases IBPS admit card online for different stages of exams. IBPS admit card can be downloaded by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth, or password. The hard copy of the IBPS hall ticket is not sent to candidates by post. IBPS admit card for various exams are released online on the official website. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.  IBPS prelims admit card is released for all the registered candidates. IBPS mains admit card is released for the qualified candidates of the prelims exam. IBPS interview admit card is released for the qualified candidates of the mains exam. Candidates need to preserve IBPS admit card for prelims exam till the completion of the mains exam. They need to carry the prelims admit card while appearing for the mains exam.

Q:   What are the documents required along with IBPS admit card?
A: 

The IBPS admit card is a mandatory document that needs to be carried at the IBPS exam centre on the day of the exam. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the exam centres. The candidates need to carry other documents along with the IBPS admit card to the exam centre. The list of the documents has been given below for the candidates:

Q:   When should I reach IBPS PO exam centre?
A: 

You should reach the IBPS PO exam centre early before the reporting time to complete the verification process. After you are given entry to the exam hall, you need to sit on the allotted system. After that, you need to login with the password as mentioned on the IBPS PO admit card. Before beginning with the test, you should read the instructions catefully. You are also supposed to write the handwriting sample. All the questions comprises multiple choices. Out of the five answers, only one is the correct answer. You have to select the most appropriate answer and ‘mouse click’ that alternative which you feel is appropriate/correct. The alternative/ option that you have clicked on will be treated as your answer to that question. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Q:   What is the syllabus for IBPS PO exam?

IBPS PO syllabus is different for prelims and Mains exams. The syllabus for the prelims exam includes topics from Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning and English . The syllabus for the Mains exam includes topics from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude & General Awareness as well as the topics for Letter Writing and Essay for the descriptive paper. The first and foremost step towards preparation is knowing the IBPS PO syllabus. Knowing the syllabus help candidates to formulate an effective preparation strategy for the exam. IBPS PO syllabus is given below:

Reasoning: Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test, Data Sufficiency, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Syllogism, Input-Output, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relation.

Q:   What is IBPS PO shift timing?
A: 

IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted in four shifts -9 am to 10 am, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 5 pm. IBPS PO Mains exam is conducted in two shifts- 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The shift timings of the prelims and Mains exams are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their shift timings. Candidates reporting late to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Q:   What are the IBPS exam day guidelines?

Candidates can check below the exam day guidelines for IBPS exam:

  • Candidates need to carry the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof
  • The admit card for the prelims exam is not collected at the exam centre. Candidates need to bring the prelims admit card and authenticated photo identity proof along with the Mains admit card while appearing for the Mains exam
  • Candidates should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the admit card
  • Rough sheets are kept at the desk of each candidate. No additional sheets are provided during the exam
  • Candidate must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving
  • Candidates need to paste the recent coloured passport-size photograph at the allotted space in the admit card
  • Candidates need to mention their name, roll number, registration number and signature on the photocopy of the ID proof
  • Any stationery item such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
  • Any communication device such as mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
  • Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, any watch/wristwatch, camera, any metallic item, eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre

Q:   Do I need to carry IBPS Clerk prelims admit card for the Mains exam?
A: 
Candidates should keep the authenticated IBPS Clerk prelims admit card and the photo-identity safely as they need to carry it while appearing for the Mains exam. The prelims admit card and the photo-identity proof is not collected at the exam centre during exam. Candidates who does not carry the prelims admit card are not allowed to appear for the Mains exam.
Q:   What are the guidelines related to the capturing of biometric impression at the IBPS PO exam centre?
A: 

In the IBPS PO exam, biometric date (Right thumb impression) will be captured twice at the examination venue i.e. before the start of exam and after completion of exam. The guidelines related to biometric verification are given below:

  • If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured.etc..), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam day
  • If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured
  • Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them
  • If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in
    the test centre
Q:   Do I need to carry additional photographs to IBPS Clerk exam centres along with admit card and photo ID proof?
A: 
Candidates are required to bring one additional photograph (same as pasted by the candidate on call letter) to IBPS Clerk exam centre. Candidates reporting without a photograph (one pasted on the call letter and one additional photograph) will not be allowed to appear for the exam. It is advised that candidates should retain eight copies of the same photograph which is uploaded at the time of application process.
