How is IISER Rank List Prepared?

The authority will consider the marks obtained out of 240 to prepare the IAT 2026 rank list. Not every candidates will be allotted rank. Whose rank in IAT is within the rank cutoff shall be consider for admission. Regarding the ranks, IISER states the following information:

The candidates who will score at least ONE mark will secure ranks.
An Overall (Common) Rank will be given to every qualified candidate.
Additionally, Category Ranks will be given to the candidates belonging to the reservation categories: OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS/SC/ST, as declared by the candidates in the application form.
No Category Rank will be given to the candidates belonging to the unreserved categories (General/OBC), as declared by the candidates in the application form.
Category Rank will not be assigned for candidates belonging to PwD category separately, since reservation for PwD category is five per cent horizontal in each of above categories.
Similarly, Category Rank has not been given to candidates belonging to the KM category, since the KM category is supernumerary.
