KVPY Channel: The KVPY-SA students who have received the provisional KVPY fellowship award are eligible to apply.

Yes, admission in IISER Thiruvanthapuram is based on both entrance and merit-based. How to Get Admission in IISERs?
Candidates who wish to take admission in the bachelor's degree need to appear for the IAT exam/ IISER 2025. The IAT exam for the academic session 2025-2026 was conducted on May 25, 2025 at various exam centres across the nation. Candidates who had appeared in the examination to secure their seat in the IISERs needed to appear in the IISER 2025 counselling process. Aspirants can secure admission in any of the IISERs on the basis of their performance in the IISER Entrance Exam. The science entrance exam is usually conducted in the month of May every year. IISER exam is of three hours duration and consists of questions from four subjects:
IISER Pune offers an MSc course for the duration of two years and offers an integrated BSc + MSc course for the duration of five years.
