There are a total of seven IISER institutes in India which provide admissions to the research-based courses at UG, PG and Phd Level. How to Get Admission in IISERs?
Admission to IISER is based on IAT exam. Students have to apply for IISER Aptitude Test online. Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum 60% marks can apply for the test. The rank holders have to participate in the IISER counselling process. Students are offered course based on their rank. To confirm the admission students must pay the admission fee.

Yes, IISER Bhopal accepts JEE score for admission. You can get admission in IISER Bhopal through JEE Main rank if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the JEE advanced channel, which is to secure a JEE Advanced rank within 10,000. You also need to have 10+2 with a Science stream and Maths as one of the subjects. IISER Bhopal offers a BS-MS degree programme for four years. You can also apply for admission through KVPY and SCB channel.
IISER Pune
A research-intensive teaching institute, IISER Pune, was established in 2006 and started functioning from its NCL campus. Now, IISER Pune is spread across an area of 98 acres. The current campus of IISER Pune has 37,000 sq m of academic space in addition to 80,000 sq m of residential space.
IISER Pune is a member of the Association of Indian Universities, and since its inception, the institute has published 2,000 research papers. IISER Kolkata
Established in 2006 by the Government of India, IISER Kolkata is functioning from its main campus located in Mohanpur, Nadia. IISER Kolkata has three hostels, which are the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Hall, the Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Hall and the Nivedita Hall. The library at IISER Kolkata has more than 29,000 books; this number includes 16,500+ print books and 13,000+ e-books.

SER Thiruvananthapuram BS fee is around INR 4.4 lakh. The course fee might include multiple fee components. Candidates must make the course fee payment to finalise their admission at ISER. Admission to the University is both entrance and merit-based. IISER Kolkata offers five courses in the field of Research, Science, and Technology at UG, PG, and doctoral level, namely a five-year BS-MS Dual Degree programme, MS in Space Physics, Integrated PhD, PhD and Postdoctoral Research programme across seven departments and five centres of excellence. In March/April, application forms for all programmes offered at IISER Kolkata are made available to the students through an online application process. Students are admitted to the BS-MS Dual Degree programme through the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) via the IISER Aptitude Test, and JEE Advanced scores. IISER Mohali
Established in 2007 with a batch of 25 students, IISER Mohali only offered BS-MS dual degree programme to aspirants. In 2008, the institute started offering a PhD programme and in 2012 integrated PhD programme.

Earlier, there were three channels through which candidates could get admissions to the courses offered at IISER institutions, IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras. From the academic session 2025, admissions are done through the IAT exam channel only, and the other two channels, including JEE Main and KVPY scores, have been discontinued.
No, It does not accept CUET score. the university accepts Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and JEE Advanced scores for admission to the BS and MS Dual Degree course. Furthermore, for Ph.D. courses, candidates need to qualify NET/GATE/UGC-JRF/CSIR-JRF/DBT/ICMR/NET, and the university also conducts a written test for Ph.D. Physics admission.

IISER score 200 or above is a good marks. It can help to get admission to IISER Pune and IISc Bangalore. Candidates must have a good conceptual knowledge, give priority to all four subjects. Prepare for the exam according to the exam syllabus and take mock test to score above 200.
