The exam conducting body has released the exam dates and result dates in advance on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. The AIIMS Nursing (Post-basic exam) exam date has not been released yet. AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 is a gateway to admission to undergraduate nursing programmes offered by AIIMS participating institutes at their 18 established campuses. It is an online (Computer-based exam that is conducted at the designated test centres spread across major cities in India.

AIIMS Nursing 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Find out the tentative AIIMS BSc nursing eligibility criteria 2026 as mentioned below:

  1. Only FEMALE candidates can apply for the BSc nursing programme
  2. The AIIMS BSc nursing 2026 eligibility criteria are likely to remain the same as last year. 
  3. Candidates should have passed or scheduled to appear for the Class 12 Board exam or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English as compulsory subjects
  4. Candidates with 55% for Gen/OBC (NCL)/EWS, 50% in case of SC/ST categories in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply for admission.
  5. Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2026. Accordingly, the minimum date of birth of candidates should be December 31, 2009. There is no upper age limit.

AIIMS Nursing 2026 Application Process

The AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 application process involves registration at two levels. The AIIMS BSc Nursing registration process is PAAR registration, which is a unique form of applying for the entrance exam. Initially, Basic registration is done, and if the application gets accepted, then the candidate can proceed with the final registration.

AIIMS Nursing 2026 Admit Card

The AIIMS Nursing 2026 admit card will be released by AIIMS Delhi on the official website, bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in. Generally, the hall ticket is released 10 days before the exam date. Any official date related to the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 admit card has been released yet. Taking a cue from the past events, candidates can expect the release of the AIIMS Nursing 2026 hall ticket by June 18, 2025.

To download the AIIMS BSc Nursing hall ticket, login details will have to be provided at the official AIIMS nursing admission portal. After downloading the AIIMS BSc Nursing admit card, take a coloured printout of it and keep it safe for future references.

AIIMS Nursing 2026 Exam Pattern

The AIIMS Nursing 2026 exam pattern states that it is a computer-based test (CBT) of 120 minutes or 2 hours’ duration. There are a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge sections.  Each question carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of one-third mark for each wrong answer. AIIMS Nursing 2026 Syllabus

The AIIMS BSc Nursing syllabus has not been released or announced by the exam conducting body. It is recommended that candidates prepare the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabi thoroughly. This guideline has remained the same for the AIIMS BSc Nursing syllabus for many years. Therefore, it is expected to remain unchanged.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 Result

The AIIMS BSc nursing result will be declared by AIIMS Delhi tentatively on July 4, 2025 as mentioned in the official exam calendar. AIIMS BSc nursing result 2026 is released in the form of a merit list.  Candidates will have to download their scorecards in PDF format by logging in to the official website. Along with the  AIIMS BSc nursing result, AIIMS will also release the data and statistics of the exam in terms of the total number of applicants, exam takers, and qualifying candidates. Yes, you need to appear for the AIIMS nursing exam separately. AIIMS does not accept NEET UG for nursing courses. AIIMS conducts separate exams for: MBBS, BSc Nursing, Paramedical courses. The AIIMS BSc Nursing exam is offered every year.
