I am fully satisfied with the college.

Placements: Almost 90%-95% of students are placed in the BSc nursing course. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Max Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Medanta Hospital, Synergy Hospital, and others. Top roles offered in the course include nursing staff, nursing superintendent, clinical educator, community health nurse, psychiatry nurse, critical care nurse, and overseas job offers.

Infrastructure: College has well-developed and well-furnished infrastructure and facilities are available. DIMS has fully furnished smart classrooms with all the advanced technology and well-equipped labs that help students with effective learning. A 24-hour Wi-Fi is available and the library has all books. Hostel rooms are fully furnished with double or triple seating arrangements, beds, almirahs, study tables, and chairs. Mess food is good in taste and hygiene in the mess is well-maintained. Many facilities are available in the hostel such as Wi-Fi, laundry, and a gym. Sports facilities are also available such as carrom, football, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative with high qualifications and years of experience. Their teaching methods are very effective. Course curriculum is fully relevant and prepares students for hospital work. Semester exams in college are a bit tough which helps students become future-ready.

Other: I chose this course because of the high job opportunities in this field. The best thing about the course is serving people and providing care to them. There is an annual fest in DIMS that offers many opportunities for students to showcase their talent through various extracurricular activities. Students and teachers celebrate every small event and day like Nursing Day, Teachers' Day, and Mental Health Day. Campus crowd is good and creates a positive atmosphere for everyone. Many scholarship opportunities are provided by the college.

Dims Where Future Shines

Placements: Dims is an INC-affiliated college with excellent placement records. For the batch of 2017-2021, Dims achieved 100% placements, which is a significant accomplishment. On average, they provide more than 95% placement in Dehradun. According to me, the placements at Dims College are among the best, with opportunities in Max Hospital, Synergy Hospital, and more.

Infrastructure: Dims offers average infrastructure. The library has all the books required for your course and provides a good seating area. They also have many labs, such as the advanced nursing lab and anatomy labs, where each and every dummy is available.

Faculty: The faculty members at Dims are very good; they are supportive and helpful, and their teaching methods are effective. Each year, you have to complete two semesters, totaling eight semesters for the B.Sc. Nursing course. Additionally, you have to complete internal assessments before each semester.

Other: I chose this course because it is affiliated with INC, which will be helpful for me in the future if I move abroad for a job. Additionally, nursing is in high demand nowadays, so I enrolled in this college and course.

Doon Institute Of Medical Science was established in 2015, but it is developing rapidly.

Placements: DIMS is the top nursing college in Dehradun. Many students (approximately 91-97%) got placed from here in different hospitals as in Synergy hospital, Max hospital, AIIMS etc. DIMS college provides lots of clinical training with practical knowledge. 100% clinical training is provided.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DIMS college is well-developed, and the hostel is like a 5-star hotel. All the facilities are provided. Labs are well-furnished, and all the labs are present here for nursing students. Mess food is hygienic. You feel 100% safe here.

Faculty: The teaching quality is superb, and maximum teachers are M.Sc. qualified. The teachers are totally supportive. This course curriculum is totally relevant and makes the students industry-ready. From 2021, semester exam pattern is being followed, and the semester exams are conducted very strictly.

Other: The atmosphere is very supportive of our studies. Many students came here after qualifying NEET exam, and nursing is totally a job-oriented course. I chose this course because this is my second career option after NEET. B.Sc. nursing is a 4-year professional course and in huge demand across the world. In DIMS, lots of events, fests, and extracurricular activities are conducted. Scholarships are provided.

I am satisfied because of faculty, infrastructure, and good facilities provided by our college.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements in well-reputed hospitals with good salary package. Multinational hospitals are invited for the best internships of the students. I joined this college as it was recommended by many of my friends and family members.

Infrastructure: The college has a world-class infrastructure in terms of classrooms, libraries, computer labs, Wi-Fi, canteen and hostel. The facility provided in our college is good. I was able to get all support for the academics. It provides a safe environment for study. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. They have their own hospital, which is fully equipped with the latest technology articles. Doon Institute of Medical Sciences has a huge outdoor playground and indoor playground, which is also provided for girls. Girls hostel is well maintained.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified. They are very supportive. The methods of teaching is good. Students can understand easily and can gain more knowledge. There are smartclasses. They use different techniques for teaching.

Other: The college organises many events like freshers, fate, environment day, nurses day, farewells, etc. They also conduct some extra activities like dance and singing, photography, debate competition, rangoli competition, poster competition, etc.

Placements totally depend on your practical knowledge as well as subject knowledge. Doon Institute of Medical Science invites multiples multi-speciality hospitals like Synergy, Max, Patanjali, DIMS, Hospital, etc., for placements.

Infrastructure: Doon Institute of Medical Science has a wide range of labs like community lab, fundamental lab, and a computer lab. There is a library which holds more than 15000 books, journals, and articles with the latest edition. Doon Institute of Medical Science provides a huge sports ground for outdoor games. Girls and boys hostels have enough space for indoor games. It also has a huge separate mess for girls and boys.
