RBI Grade B Phase 2 is conducted for candidates who have qualified the Phase 1 exam by securing the required cutoff marks. RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam was conducted on June 25 in two shifts- Morning and Afternoon. The Paper-III (Finance and Management) was conducted in the morning shift. Paper I (Economics and Social Issues) and Paper II (English) were conducted in the afternoon shift. The overall paper of Paper III (Finance and Management) was easy to moderate. Students found the descriptive section easier than the objective section. Questions in the subjective paper were asked from LTRO, resistance to change and how to avoid, India's role in 2008 financial crisis, blockerchain disrupt banking, what are the barriers to interpersonal communication and how to overcome it, managers' role in encouraging ethical behaviour in an organisation.

The objective paper carried questions on RBI notifications such as Legal Entity Identifier (LEI), Payments Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF). In the Management part, there were application-based questions.

RBI Grade B exam is conducted every year for direct recruitment of Grade B Officers in Combined Seniority Group (CSG) streams. Successful candidates are selected to the post of Officers in Grade B (General), Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR) and Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM). Tanuja said, “The overall paper of Finance and Management was easy to moderate. The descriptive paper was easy but I found the objective paper to be tough. Questions in the descriptive paper were asked from LTRO (10 marks), resistance to change and how to avoid (10 marks), will blockchain disrupt banking (50 marks), etc. In the objective part of the paper around four to five questions were asked from RBI notifications such as Legal Entity Identifier (LEI), Payments Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF). Questions in Management part were application-based.”

Sandip Singh said, “The difficulty level of Paper 3 was moderate to difficult. The Management portion was easy. In Finance, questions were asked from CSIR, defination of small industries, etc. In the static part, there were less objective questions from derivatives, bonds and risks."

Taniya said, "The questions asked in Economics and Social Issues were easy. Questions in the descriptive section were asked from what is meant by economic reforms and explain all the types of the economic reforms from 1990 till date, financial stability is essential tool in any business, although urbanisation is spread to villages, race, caste, gender discrimination is rampant in this light about the challenges faced. Objective type questions were asked from one nation one ration card scheme, summit, foreign trade policy, smile scheme for transgender, world bank report from 2018, RBI interface, etc."

Regarding the difficulty level of Paper 2 (English), Swastika said, "The English section was moderate and in Essay topics were medical tourism, women entrepreneurship, Glasgow conference. The precise question was asked from Space Exploration."
