RBI Assistant Marking Scheme

The examination authority prescribes RBI Assistant marking scheme. For the correct answer, candidates score one mark. There is a negative marking for wrong answers. For incorrect answers, 0.25 marks are deducted. The total score is calculated based on the correct and incorrect answers.

Normalisation of Marks 

Normalisation of marks is done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers held across various shifts. The normalisation of marks is done using equi-percentile method. The marks of candidates are calculated based on the normalisation.

In the prelims exam of RBI Assistant a total of 100 questions are asked while there will be a total of 200 questions in the Mains exam. RBI Assistant exam pattern for prelims is divided into three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The Mains exam carries sections on Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. RBI Assistant exam is conducted online. The duration of the prelims exam is 60 minutes. Candidates will get 20 minutes to solve the questions.
