Filling the detailed application form
Once candidates are done with uploading the photograph and signature, they need to enter the educational qualification, choose exam centre for preliminary and mains exam etc.
Preview of application form
Before final submission, candidates should preview the application form and make corrections if any. After final submission, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes in the application form.
Fee payment
- The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated
- Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online application form for further records

RBI Assistant Handwritten Declaration
RBI Assistant handwritten declaration needs to be uploaded while filling the application form. The handwritten declaration should be written in candidate's own handwriting and should be uploaded in PDF form. By submitting the handwritten declaration, candidates declare that the details provided in the application form are correct and valid. The text for the RBI Assistant handwritten declaration is given below:
“I,_____(Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required”.
The handwritten declaration should be written in English only. This handwritten declaration should be written on white paper with black ink.The handwritten declaration should not be written in capital letters.
RBI Assistant Application Form 2023 Important Points
Few important points related to RBI Assistant application form 2023 are given below:
- Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria
- Any candidate should submit not over one RBI Assistant application form
- In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid (completed) application will be retained
- Candidates should not send the hard copy of the application form to the examination authority
- Admission to online test will be purely provisional without verification of documents
- Application form and e-receipt should be printed by the candidate and kept for reference
- Candidates can apply for vacancy in one office only and will have to opt for online test (prelims and mains) within the same state office they have applied for
RBI Assistant Admit Card
RBI Assistant admit card is released online separately for prelims and mains exams. The admit card for the prelims exam is released for all registered candidates. The mains admit card is released for candidates who qualify the mains exam. To download the RBI Assistant admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.
RBI Assistant Salary
The basic RBI Assistant salary is INR 20,700 per month. The payscale is INR 20700-1200 (3)-24300- 1440 (4) -30060-1920 (6)-41580-2080 (2)-45740-2370 (3)-52850- 2850-55700 (20 years). Besides, candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. The initial monthly gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately INR 45,050.
RBI Assistant Exam Centres 2023
RBI releases the list of test cities along with the notification. Candidates are required to select exam cities individually for prelims and mains exams. Only one exam city each can be selected for the prelims and mains exams. Candidates should carefully select the RBI Assistant exam centres as they cannot be changed later. RBI Assistant prelims exam is conducted at more than 160 cities while the mains exam is held across 100 cities. The list of RBI Assistant exam cities is given below.

Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
The picture should be in colour, against a light-colored, preferably white background.
Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
If you have to use flash, ensure there's no red-eye.
If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections, and your eyes can be clearly seen.
Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious head wear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
