IES 2023 Prelims Result has been released. The Union Public Service Commission released the roll number and the names of the qualified candidates for the main exam. The IAS prelims 2023 exam was conducted on February 19. The UPSC will conduct the IES 2023 main exam on June 3.
IES 2023 Prelims Result Released
IAS 2023 Result Released: IES prelims resuly 2023 has been reelased online on March 3. The Union Public Service Commission released the roll number of the candidates qualified for the IES main exam 2023. The Commission conducted the IES prelims exam on February 19. The Commission released the result within a 14 days from the exam date.
How to Check the IES 2023 Prelims Result?
The candidates can check their IES prelims result 2023 in the following manner
- Go to the official website of UPSC
- Go to the Whats New Section given on the right side of the home page
- Click on the IES 2023 prelims result PDF link
- The IES 2023 prelims result pdf will appear on the screen
- Search the roll number of name of the candidates in the result pdf
- Download the IES prelims result 2023 pdf for future reference

The Union Public Service Commission will release the IES result PDF on its official website only. The Commission will mention the names and the roll numbers of the qualified candidates in the result pdf. The candidates will be able to download the UPSC IES 2025 result pdf in the following manner:

- Go to the What's new section on the right-hand side
- Click on the UPSC ESE (IES) final result 2025 link
- The UPSC ESE (IES) final Result 2025 PDF will appear on the screen
- Download the UPSC ESE (IES) 2025 final Result PDF for future reference
The Union Public Service Commission conducted the IES 2024 prelims exam on February 18, 2024. In the normal circumstances, the IES prelims result is releasd within a fortnight of the exam. The Commission was expected to release the IES 2024 result in the first week of March but the result was not released.
It is expected that the UPSC will be required to take approval of the Election Commission before the release of the IES result 2024. This is causing the delay in the IES 2024 result.

The Commission conducted the IES 2023 prelims exam on February 19 for the following Engineering streams:
- Civil Engineering*&&&^^^%%##
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics and Telecommunication
The IES Main Exam 2023 will be conducted on June 3.
The Union Public Service Commission will release the UPSC ESE (IES) 2026 Prelims exam result on the official website. The Commission will conduct the IES 2026 prelims exam on February 8, 2026.
The Commission will release the UPSC IES cutoff 2026 online after the release of final result.
The Union Public Service Commission notified 167 IES vacancies in the official notification. The Commission accept the vacancy requisition till the prelims exam. The IES 2024 vacancies are expected to increase to 180.
This will be in line with the past year trends.
The Union Public Service Commission will mention the names and the roll number of the qualified candidates in the IES 2025 result PDF. The Commission will release two separate IES result PDFs. One result pdf mentions the roll numbers of the qualified candidates and the other pdf mentions the names of the qualified candidates.
These candidates are called for the IES main exam. The Commission also mentions the date of the exam in the result pdf.

No. A candidate can not change the examination centre. There is no such provision. Therefore, it is recommended to choose carefully the exam centre. Also, check the official notification for the same.
