Overview

SSC CGL Exam Centre 2026: The Staff Selection Commission will allot SSC CGL exam centres based on the choice of centre in the application form. The candidates are required to provide three choices of exam centres and the Commission tries to allot the exam centre given as first choice in the SSC CGL form. The Commission release the City intimation slip to inform the candidates about their city of examination and date of exam.

The Commission inform about the exam centre in SSC CGL admit card. The Commission also release the percentage of the candidates who got the exam centre of their choice. In addition to that, the Commission also provide the slot selection facility to the candidates where the candidates can select their preference for the exam slot. The Commission will conduct SSC CGL 2026 exam in May-June. The candidates will be required to carry one photo identity card with the admit card to secure entry to the examination centre.

The Combined Graduate Level is conducted across the nation simultaneously for more than a week. The Commission requires such exam centres where the internet connectivity and electricity is available. The Commission releases the exam centres list in the official notification. The candidates will be required to check their admit card to know their exam centre. The region-wise exam centres are given below:

The Staff Selection Commission will issue the SSC CGL admit card 2026 around three days prior to the examination date. No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
