The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam from the first week of September 2025. The Commission is yet to notify the SSC CGL 2025 exam dates. The candidates were asked to select the SSC CGL 2025 exam centre of their choice in the online application form. The Staff Selection Commission allocates the Combined Graduate Level Exam Centre as per the chcoie and availability of the exam centres in a selected city. The Commission tries to allot the exam centre mentioned as the first choice to the majority of candidates.
The candidates should note that the Commission will release the SSC CGL application status, including the exam date, city information and shift details. The Commission will release the SSC CGL Tier 1 admit card only two to three days before the exam date of the candidate.
Every year, the Commission changes some of the exam centres and provides the opportunity to some other cities. The candidates need to read the official notification to get the detailed list of SSC CGL exam centres. The candidates should select their exam centre online based on their travelling time or other convenience. The Commission does not change the exam centre in any condition.
The candidates should note that the Southern Region has the highest number of exam centres across the nation. The Staff Selection Commission has assigned over 20 exam centres to the Southern region. The Commission assess the exam centres allotted to each region after the examination and the Commission can change the number of exam centre allotted to a specific region.
The number of candidates who appeared in the exam is the key criterion for assigning a state to the SSC CGL exam centre.
The Staff Selection Commission will soon release the new SSC CGL 2025 exam dates of the candidates through its application status/city slip. The Commission will release the SSC CGL 2025 application status on its official website - ssc.gov.in under the candidate's login. The candidates will be required to check their exam dates by logging with their SSC OTR. The candidates should note that the SSC CGL admit card 2025 will be released four days before the exam date of the candidate.
The SSC CGL 2025 exam will be conducted from the first week of September.
