CG PAT 2025 Exam is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur (CPEB), a Pre-Agriculture Test commonly known as CG PAT. All the candidates must have their CG PAT admit card along with a valid photo ID, which was published on the official website on May 7, 2025. The CG PAT 2025 Exam was held on May 15, 2025, as per the notice published on the official website in offline mode for students who want to pursue a career in Agriculture and Allied Science.

What is CG PAT?

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur conducts Pre Agriculture Test commonly known as CG PAT for admissions to Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture and Horticulture offered at the affiliated colleges to Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV). The entrance exam is held in a pen-paper based tets mode across more than 35 test centres in Chhattisgarh. The question paper of CG PAT is based on three subject groups - Agriculture Group; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) Group; and Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) Group.

CG PAT 2025 Result

The CG PAT result 2025 was declared on July 20, 2025. Candidates were required to visit the official website to check and download their results and scorecards online by entering their roll numbers. CG PAT 2025 Counselling

The CG PAT 2025 counselling registration started on July 5, 2025, and ended on July 13, 2025, after the result was declared on the official website. Students who qualify for the CG PAT 2025 Exam, only they will receive an invitation for the counselling process. The selected candidates need to report to the Agriculture College, Raipur, for the document verification process.

The date for the declaration of provisional allotment seat was July 16, 2025. The document verification process for the phase-1 counselling process was scheduled from July 17 to July 19, 2025. The end date to submit the provisional seat allotment fee was July 17 to July 21, 2025. The spot counselling round was scheduled between July 17 to July 21, 2025. The list of vacant seats was declared on July 23, 2025.

As part of the CG PAT counselling process, candidates needed to register and upload documents. Upon the verification of documents, they will be allotted seats, which they have to accept by paying the requisite fee. Generally, three rounds of counselling are conducted, and a fourth or a mop-up round will be conducted depending on the number of vacant seats.

CG PAT 2025 Exam Pattern

As per the pattern of the CG PAT exam, it is a paper-pencil-based test of three hours duration. The total number of questions is 200. There will be three sections, wherein two sections carry 60 questions and one section carries 80 questions. Each question is of one mark and there is no negative marking scheme. The questions are objective type and carry multiple-choice questions. The medium of the exam is English and Hindi. The admission process through the CG Pre-Admission Test (CG PAT) will be as under:

Step 1: Fill out the CG PAT Application Form

Candidates will be able to download their CG PAT 2025 admit card from the official website of CG Vyapam by entering their registration ID/ number. CG PAT admit card is a mandatory document that aspirants need to carry to the exam centre.

Step 3: Appear for the CG PAT Exam

Candidates need to appear for the CG PAT 2025 exam at the allotted exam centre. In the exam, candidates were given multiple-choice questions that they needed to complete in 2.15 hours. Candidates must have cleared their Class 12 exam from any recognised national or state board of education or equivalent examination (HSC) from the Chhattisgarh board.
They should have studied PCM or Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences/ Agricultural Science and Agricultural Mathematics/ Crop Production and Horticulture as mandatory subjects.
