
Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology released the OUAT Entrance Exam result 2026 on August 1. The University released the OUAT Rank Card 2026 under the login to notify their result status. The candidates should note that the OUAT Rank Card will be an essential document in Counselling because it is the official result of the candidate. Earlier, the Office of Controller of Examinations, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, released an official notice that the OUAT 2026 Percentile of marks were delayed.
The University conducted the OUAT 2026 exam on July 1 for the UG courses and on July 2 for PG courses. The Odisha University also released the changes made in the OUAT final Answer key 2026 with the result.

OUAT Cutoff 2026

OUAT 2026 Counselling Dates
The OUAT Entrance Exam 2026 counselling will start soon after the declaration of result. It will be conducted online only. The candidates will be required to register for counselling to provide the choice of their seat and college choices. No, there is no such procedure to take direct admission in the OUAT exam. Applicants are required to fill the application form and appear in the OUAT entrance exam for their desired course.
Since there are two entrance exams OUAT UG & OUAT PG, hence applicants who want to take admission in their desired course need to apply accordingly.
The application form, release of admit card, answer key & result will be released in online mode only.
A Master’s Degree Programme is a full-time study of two years which includes both coursework and research for a thesis. The maximum permissible period for completion of a Master’s degree is five consecutive academic years for direct students and six consecutive years for in-service students.
Candidates without having Mathematics or Biology will have to make up for their deficiency by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics / Biology) to be offered during the first two semesters. For admission into B.V.Sc & A.H and B.F.Sc. subject combination P.C.B. in + 2 science/equivalent is mandatory. Similarly, for B.Tech (Agril. Engg.), subject combination P.C.M in + 2 science / equivalent are mandatory.

Candidates applying under the AFP quota shall produce the original Bonafide Certificate issued by Rajya Sainik Board, Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar-2 at the time of counselling and admission, failing which his/her admission to AFP category seat will be denied.
A Doctoral Programme is a full-time study of three years which includes both course work and research for a thesis. The maximum permissible period for completion of the course is seven consecutive academic years for direct students and eight consecutive years for in-service students. An academic year consists of two semesters each having a minimum duration of 110 working days consisting of 95 Net Instructional Days (NID) and 15 examination days.
OUAT (Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology) is conducts once a year. The OUAT entrance exam is conducted for students who wish to study Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Fishery Science, Home Science, and Forestry. Students who wish to pursue undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in these fields should go through the OUAT eligibility criteria, and if they fulfil the criteria, they should appear for the entrance exam.

There will be 180 general multiple choice questions (Non-crop specific) in part A and 40 crop specific (Field crop and Horticultural crops in equal proportion) questions in part B following the common syllabi of Agriculture and Horticulture faculties. Candidates have to attempt all the questions in part A and any 20 questions from part B.
The entrance examination for admission into the Master’s programme in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and for the Doctoral programme is offline at Bhubaneswar. For the M.Sc. (Ag) course programme, the question of entrance test will be comprised of two parts Part- A and Part B.
