College is good for other courses you can take admission.

Placements: No students got placed from the course Physics Honors in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. Forget about the internship there is nothing for Physics honors students. Internships and placements are for other courses. So with conclusion you are not getting anything in this college with this course.

Infrastructure: Equipment are also old and not working properly. Wi-Fi is good with proper connection but Wi-Fi does not connect with you in the classroom. There is a canteen which is okay some food is edible and it has space so you can have your lunch.

Faculty: Faculty members don't pay attention to students and they don't know how to teach. Semester exams are okay if you are going with the preparation you can take your exam with ease. This course doesn't get you ready for industries but you can achieve something if you go in teaching line or research. Faculty members are good but won't cooperate with you except one or two.

Other: Campus life is good with more clubs and every day there is something new you can learn there are scholarships for some students but not for general students.

My DDUC campus life Journey.

Placements: Many placements are offered by the college, but for B.Sc. (H) Physics, no such placements took place. With skills like graphic designing, video editing, robotics, etc., there might be chances for you to get a job. From my batch, no one got any such opportunity.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library all are up to the mark. The facilities are very well-equipped with all the required equipments. The best part is that the entire campus is air conditioned which helps us to not bother about the hot weather and focus better in the class. Hostel is also very well established and had good food in the mess. Food served in the canteen is very delicious.

Faculty: DDUC has one of the best faculties one can have, especially for the Physics department. They are very hardworking and dedicated. Various webinars and workshops along with many competitions are organised on a regular basis for the overall holistic development of the students.

Best infrastructure and good location.

Placements: Our college placement is lower, but many big companies come here and give internships to students, like Google, Amazon, etc. The maximum package is INR 23 lacs per annum, and the average package is around INR 5 lacs per annum. In our course 8 CGPA and above holders got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is top-notch. The canteen at our college is the best canteen. The sports field of the college is not much larger, but many games are there. The library has three floors and is fully air-conditioned. The campus is fully air-conditioned. The lab is also very good; many good pieces of equipment are there.

Faculty: There is good faculty, and some teachers are less strict and some are very strict. Teachers are of a helping nature. In our college, the passing CGPA is around 4 CGPA. The difficulty level of our examination is average in some subjects and above average in some subjects.

Other: This college is the best for the science stream. There are many events in college. The location of the college is also very good; it is nearby.

It is a well to do college that gives good placement.

Placements: 100% placements are offered with an average package of 8 LPA and government job security. The courses available are occupational therapy, physiotherapy, prosthetic and orthopedics. The college is quite dedicated to the academics and provides good facilities.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully air conditioned and the faculty is quite strict towards the student behaviour. Smart boards are also there in the classrooms. Hostel is only for girls and the labs are well maintained. The campus is not that much broad and spread out.

Faculty: The teachers are quite experienced and sophisticated, and a little strict too towards the syllabus. The labs are opened for most of the time and any student can go and study there. The library provides a good range of books to study. Overall the college is well to do.

Other: The course I'm pursuing is occupational therapy.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities but dissatisfied with teachers.

Placements: There are no placements. Students go for higher studies or prepare for civil services or PSU or look for scientific posts (Assistant Level) at DRDO or ISRO.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs have air-conditioners and projectors for teaching. Equipment in the labs are in good condition. There are some high quality equipment for research. There is Wi-Fi facility but it is slow. Library is very good and modern with air-conditioners. There is a stationary and ATM inside the campus. It has a modern Auditorium but not that big. Food in the canteen is not good in taste. Hostel facilities are good with decent food but the fee is very high 1.37 LPA. There are no facilities for outdoor games and has no sports ground. There are facilities for indoor games. Infrastructure is very good and modern excluding sports.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very knowledgeable. There are 2 to 3 good teachers. Teachers are not able to complete the course. The curriculum is of Delhi University which is good. In the first year every semester, an ability enhancement course is taught with core subjects. There is a choice to choose a subject from a different field to study as General Elective Course. In the third year, you have an option to do a dissertation or choose a course from the field to study along with core subjects.

Other: There are many things to do other than academics. Students can volunteer in various societies. Each course has its society. There are great facilities for startups. You can also join Robotics Club.

I think the college really needs to work on its placement cell.

Placements: The placement cell, according to me, is not so much active. I heard about companies coming for recruitment. None was placed from my batch. I don't know much about the highest and the lowest packages offered. Most of the students opted for higher studies.

Infrastructure: This college is famous for its infrastructure and faculty. You will get enough facilities for your research, and the library is very good. You will get research papers for free to read and many more. You will get good internet connection and PCs to work. It has a good canteen.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good. A few teachers are very helpful, and rarely, you get any teacher you can be very friendly with. I was friendly with one teacher. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not much tough. You can easily score well.

DDUC-A good college but still improving.

Placements: Good but not expected as a du college but quite satisfied there are several companies who visit the college & provide jobs for students but most of the students will prepare for government jobs like NDA CDS SSC etc.). But quite satisfactory placement.

Infrastructure: Best infrastructure in Delhi university the recent shifting of college from karampura to dwarka takes a drastic change in campus a well settled three floor library with centralised AC & recreational rooms & all infact classes are the best part of the college .

Faculty: Quite satisfy but faculty has pros & cons as some faculty members are good but some of them are irritating & disappointed some teachers help children but some think they are slave of him/her some faculty members also provide financial help to students.

Other: There are several events like aaveg (departmental fest of Physics dept), robo carnival, spark etc.

It has a mind-blowing infrastructure with comfortable classrooms.

Placements: Placements are done on a large scale for commerce students. However, science students are also placed, though in less number. In the physics honors course, around 40-60% of students get placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Topper, Deloitte, EY, etc., visit our college for placements. Around 30% of students got an internship in research labs like in Karnataka University. There is an active placement cell in DDUC, which works very efficiently.

Infrastructure: Since the college building is not very old, so the infrastructure here is new. It has high-maintained laboratories, with fully air-conditioned rooms. Every corner of the college has fair access to Wi-Fi. DDUC library is a famous library in the whole DU with proper seating arrangements and high-end computers. I personally used to spend 3-4 hours in the library since it is fully air-conditioned. The hostel fee is a bit high, but it is worth it. The hostel has huge rooms with proper cleaning facilities and attached bathrooms, which make the hostel rooms like hotel rooms. The mess food is quite well, and it serves a sufficient variety of food. There is a common hall for entertainment purposes. Overall, it is the best from the infrastructure perspective.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, but some teachers are not much helpful. Adequate attention is given to each student. Their teaching quality is medium. Teachers are not well versed with the use of smartboards in the classroom, but still, they try their hard to explain the topics. The course is in line with the syllabus released by DU. It makes students industry-ready. One can pass semester exams by even studying in the last month. Approximately 90% of students pass every year from college. Exam pattern is not very hard. Previous year question papers can help any student in passing semester exams.

Other: The building of this college is very attractive. I was very fascinated by it also. This college provides an overall development in the student. Every year, a college fest is organized to which celebrities are invited. However, due to some technical issues, the fest was not organized in 2018 and 2019. There are some malls near college for a hangout. I got a scholarship for two years because of my good marks. Regular sports functions are organised in the college.
