About Sri Venkateswara College.

Placements: The overall placements in our college are really good. Many students are getting into top companies like Brain & Co. and securing good packages. However, placements for my course, B.Sc. Physics is not that good. Most students go for higher studies.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is fine. It has a few issues, like a lack of air conditioning and old benches. However, Physics labs have very good equipment and are air-conditioned. The library is also well-equipped with books on every topic.

Faculty: Faculty and lab staff of the Physics department are very talented and knowledgeable. They teach very well, and it is easy to understand the concepts taught in class. The curriculum includes some less relevant subjects like AEC, SEC, and VAC, but that is due to DU and not the college.

Other: The crowd at our college is very good, with many friendly and talented students. There are many societies, and our fest is the biggest fest of DU.

I am fully satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty, and facilities.

Placements: So, I was doing B.Sc. Physics Honours from Sri Venkateswara College. Science people don't get any placements, so we go for further studies, and some students start preparing for government exams. But yes, I can say that many students from our course got selected for really good institutes like IITs and IISERs, etc. Some of them went abroad for higher studies, so yes, we are also doing a really good job after passing from here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good, and it was getting better also because at our time construction was going on. The library is now far better, and all kinds of books are available there. Classrooms are big and well-furnished. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The physics lab also had all kinds of equipment, and every apparatus was working properly. Only one girl from our class got a hostel on campus, but according to her, it was good, and the food quality of the mess was also nice.

Faculty: The physics faculty was really nice. Our professors were well-trained and had really good knowledge about the subject, and they were really approachable. They helped us a lot in the course and in other extra activities too. Semester exams were moderately difficult, and we had good seating arrangements during exams.

Other: We used to have fests and extra cultural activities every month, so it was nice and enjoyable. Unlike other colleges, there was no violence among students, and the campus was so peaceful and quiet. There is a big ground where we can sit and study in the sunlight during winter. Overall, I had a good experience over there.

Sri Venkateshwara College Review.

Placements: Around 30 to 40 percent of students from my course get placed. The highest package offered last year in our course was 9 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies from our college are AON CONSULTING, BECK BENCHERS, EY INDIA, DELOITTE INDIA. The highest placement offered last year was 2,100,000 per annum and the median package offered was 600,000 per annum and the average package offered was 650,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and our course is good. All the necessary equipment required for our course is available and equipment required for lab classes is available. The campus is lush green and classrooms are well equipped with fans, smart boards, and projectors. All the buildings are well maintained. There are grounds available for all sports like basketball, tennis, cricket, and football.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful towards students. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their subject, and their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very good because it not only includes theoretical knowledge but also an equal amount of practical knowledge of the subject. As mentioned above, the course provides practical knowledge of the subject, which makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult; exams are of moderate level and the passing criteria for exams is a minimum of 40 percent in both theory and practical exams.

Other: I chose this course because I have great interest in Physics and Mathematics. The best thing about this course is that you get to learn about various phenomena that happen regularly in our daily life. The thing which can be improved, according to me, in this course is that knowledge about programming languages should be provided, which will help us to make simulations of the experiments we perform in the lab and make us more industry-ready. Many events are regularly organized by different societies and clubs. The college fest is known as NEXUS and is organized in the months of March and April. The metro station is only 50 meters from the college main gate, and Dhula Kuan bus stand is around 1 km away. Scholarships are provided by the college on family income and merit basis.

Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: There are around 60 students in our course. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Decathlon, Bajaj, etc. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top roles offered are analysts, research associate, etc. Interested students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good. Our college provides facilities like proper labs with all apparatus, fully furnished classrooms with proper boards and projectors, and a huge library with all course-related books. The food served in the hostel is nutritious, healthy, and hygienic. Our college provides outdoor and indoor sports facilities like a basketball court, a table tennis court, etc.

Faculty: Our teachers are experienced, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. They provide us with theoretical and practical knowledge. Our college has a music society and a dance society.

I am a little dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: In our course, many placements are not available but a lot of internships are provided to students. Perks of these internships are certificate of completion and stipend up to Rs.30,000 are provided. Some recruiting companies are Girl Power Talk, Hike, Skilible, Fiesta, and Neeti Shastra.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities provided by the college are Wi-Fi, well-ventilated classrooms, labs, a library, etc. The classroom does not have an air-conditioning facility. Library has a limit of issuing 4 books for a duration of 14 days. The quality of food served in the canteen is good but that of the mess is of average quality.

Faculty: Teachers of our department aren't so supportive regarding the uplift of a student who is less compared to others. Teachers are helpful regarding academics. Doubts are cleared easily and teachers are highly accessible. Semester exams are neither so difficult nor so easy.

Placements: Currently I'm pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics and I'll pass out in 2024. About 60 students are there in the Physics batch. The highest package offered is 24 LPA, the average package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package being 2.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course is Google and HCL. A number of foreign universities also come for offering higher education. About 85% students got internships. The top roles offered are in research department.

Infrastructure: At the moment, construction is going on in our college so there are lot of noises and disturbances around the campus. Some old blocks in the campus are damn good and are available for our ongoing classes. The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi facility providing high-speed data. A big library with a reading room is there in our campus providing spectrum of books for all courses. The hostel area is in a prime location in the campus. Proper mess facilities with good quality food is there in the hostel. A doctor is allocated in the campus for medical emergencies. Various indoor and outdoor sports are available such as football, basketball, and table tennis.

Faculty: The faculty in our Physics department is amazing. They are quite knowledgeable, very helpful and are very qualified. They are putting out lots of research papers. The teaching quality and the course curriculum is relevant. The deep knowledge makes us future ready. The semester exams in college are on a moderate to difficult level. The pass percentage of the college is around 94%.

I am satisfied because of the great teachers, good placements, and really good crowd.

Placements: My course is B.Sc (Hons. ) Physics program and I'll pass out of college in the year 2024. A roundabout 60 students are there in my course. The highest package offered is 24 LPA and average package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 2.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Google, HCl, Accenture, Wipro, etc. A good amount of students in my course got the internship that is 90% in Accenture and all the companies mentioned above.

Infrastructure: At the moment construction is going on in our college resulting in a chaotic environment. Apart from this good classrooms are available for our ongoing classes. The whole campus of the college is in a good network zone with good Wi-Fi facilities. A very big library with all books for all courses is present. The hostel of our college is quite good and in a peaceful area of the campus. Proper housing facilities and tasty meals are available in the canteen. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor games available.

Faculty: The faculty of the Physics department in our college is quite knowledgeable. They are very helpful and qualified with a great level of intellect. The teaching quality and the course curriculum are quite apt and give us proper knowledge in all fields of Physics and make us ready for the future. It is a really good campus with amazing co-curricular activities.

Placements: There are 60 students in my batch with a percentage ranging from 95 to 99%. A good number of students got placed from our college with good packages. The highest package offered was 20 LPA. The lowest package was 1.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are PwC UK, Deloitte etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure isn't that adequate as construction is going on in various areas of the college. Facilities for our course are still less as the college area is under construction and will be ready soon. The hostel is also under construction and still closed. The classrooms are well apt with proper benches and are airy too with proper ventilation. Wi-Fi facilities are available and are quite good providing each student a good quality network. The sports department is the best of all with lots of games like cricket, basketball, football, table tennis, chess etc. There are both indoor and outdoor games which is a plus.

Faculty: The teachers and professors are very well qualified and helpful. They teach very well. Teachers are very helpful, providing us with all the support we need. You can contact them anytime, and they are available to clear all our doubts. The course curriculum is apt. According to me, the course makes students industry-ready as we get all the basic knowledge required. The semester exams were from moderate to difficult. This year, they were in online mode, so they were more on the difficult side. But according to seniors, offline exams have moderate levels. The pass percentage is quite good in our college.
